  1. Completely agree. It doesn't make sense that valkyr has invincibility and ridiculous damage for only 3 eps while mesas 4th locks her in place and cost 15 eps. Honestly at lower levels it doesn't really matter but once you get level 60+ you really need to stay in peacemaker longer to kill enemies.

  2. I like the idea of a sniper pistol although this seems like WAY too much damage. If it were to have these stats then probably have the fire rate REALLY slow. I also don't like the fact that it draws from sniper ammo pool. Currently the only reason why I don't use explosive secondaries (mainly castanas) is because they draw from the sniper pool.

  3. So the title explains it, i am trying to choose between the two of them. I have found it a very difficult choice thus far and would like some input. I would also like some critique on my builds, and advice on the effectiveness of certain mod setups.

     

    First things first i will be using depleted magazine if i use the prime, i want that bolt action feel so thats mandatory. I will run both with Serration, split chamber, point blank, vital sense, charged chamber and obviously depleted on the prime. The remaining 3 spots on the standard and 2 on the prime will likely be elemental mods.

    It is for now using a pair of dual stat mods as its already going to take 3 forma to get it going, and 1 more forma if i choose to replace one with a second 90% elemental mod down the road.

    I am also using dual stat mods here as i can limit the forma usage to 1 for the time being.

     

    I am using dual stat mods on both as well to get status procs, which is rather redundant as its unlikely i will take them high enough to need enough shots to proc corrosive multiple times, if they can take 4 x2 rounds to the face thats certainly tiers out of my league. The real reason is i have heard viral is a credible build, procing it reduces enemy health by half before applying damage, letting it instantly kill enemies with twice the health as it does damage in fewer shots, when and if it procs, but i question the real effectiveness of that and would like advice.

     

    With the builds i have, the use of dual stat mods leaves me with a choice of 12% or so more damage on the vectis, but 40% more firerate on the prime. If the procs are worth it which would be best, factoring in grind?

     

    Now, with the 90% mods the guns have nearly identical damage, the prime retaining its faster fire rate. on top of that the higher puncture damage. The prime is definitely a buff here. Is it worth the grind for the 40% increase in fire rate?

     

    Lastly, totally off topic, any good areas to farm neurodes? they are driving me mad, running earth excavation as nekros nets me one every 40-60 minutes, and i need upwards of twenty. X___X

    Honestly, I would get started on grinding it anyway. In U18 a sniper buff is going to come out so expect the Vectis Prime to be a REALLY good weapon!

  4. In the warframe community there is a big misconception about endgame. Endgame is not about damage (midgame is). Endgame is about CC and utility. Guns have virtually no utility, only damage.

    Not entirely true. I consider end game being the raids or endless survival although weapons do drop off eventually, it takes a very very long time for that to happen. Running 4x cp really helps out in the void.

  5. Personal favorite is the soma prime. I have 3 formas and it does really good and even better with 4x cp. Lots of people like the tonkor but I dont really have any formas on it. As for secondaries, I use the brakk quite a bit. I loved playing with the acrid but wouldn't consider it, "end game." The vaykor marelok is also amazing.

  6. Yeah, mesa doesn't make too much sense but who cares, it's still fun to play her! Ballistic battery is a pretty good ability but it seriously gets impacted by armor and just drops off at one point (It's just a straight up damage ability). Her second one definitely needs to be changed. I like your idea of having an aura sort of thing. Honestly her third ability is her only survival. If DE were to change peacemaker to make it more rewarding if you use it longer then yes, I would say nerf her third a little bit.
