[How Would You Balance Trinity?]

1. Well of Life is redundant not because of blessing, but because I one-shot everything up to level 40's. So how about we buff or change WoL so it's actually useful?

2. Again, I instant kill a lot of things, this needs to be changed as it is crap currently.

3. Link is fine.

4. Blessing is fine.

 

That's cool, let me just go spend 3 million credits and thousands of fusion cores to max Narrow Minded.

You don't need Narrow Minded at all to keep up invincibility. Although you risk a second of mortality now and then.

• Maximized Power Duration increases the duration to 30.8 seconds.
  • Has no negative effect on this ability.  

Hysteria

• Maximized Power Duration increases duration to 77.1 seconds (1 minute and 17.1 seconds.
  • Has no negative effect on this ability.

 

If this is what you want to argue then I could list tons of other frames in that case. 

 

You can take damage while invisible.

 

And there's plenty of risk in using hysteria, most of the time you'll do less damage as well.

 

Neither is as good as Blessing (even if it only affected Trinity).

Yes, this discussion is about Trinity as a whole. So for Trinity user, if you deem trinity too powerful, why doesn't you just take away her mods? 

For player that is not trinity, if you deem trinity too powerful, why don't you settle with "reduce trinity's blessing on other player but keep the current blessing on trinity"? 

Which is why the topic is about how to balance Trinity, not how to nerf Blessing. The other abilities should change to make up for the loss of invulnerability to make her still viable at higher levels. Just in a way that requires a bit more strategy.

Take off your mods on Trinity, then you'll get your fix. Don't ruin that for player who like trinity the way she is. (aka, if trinity affect her whole team)

if you really want the nerf then only reduce blessing on other player, but keep the current blessing on trinity.  

The current trinity in game, every frames beside trinity is better than trinity, because trinity's power affect them, their power doesn't affect trinity. 

I mean, that would work too. But it would make trinity a tank rather than support frame.

I like trinity but the invincibilty makes her incredibly boring (to play and play with). Works for no effort farming I guess.

 

Here's what I would change:

 

Well of life could mark a few enemies (or jump to one at a time) that would give health on hit. Without the stun or health boost.

Or you could replace it with a single target healing ray or something.

 

Energy vampire really isn't that bad as is. I'd be happy with it if they fixed the duration issue. Maybe give it longer/infinite range and some subtle hint in the HUD to teammates shooting it.

 

Link works pretty well as is, jumping into heavies for free CC is always fun.

 

There's a ton of ways to fix Blessing. The least intrusive way I can think of would be to give it a set amount of non-invincibility at the end that would also scale with duration. So a 20second duration would be something like 16 seconds invulnerable and 4 second cooldown essentially. It would still have similiar utility but with an actual trade off.

 

Although, I'd prefer something like instantanious heal and 3-5 seconds non-moddable invincibilty, which would make it actually useful for healing and give teammates just enough time to get out of bad situations.

 

 

Krymanol's suggestions are good too, but maybe a bit too extensive to be realistic.
