i didn't like my kurows color before and i don't like them now......i want to play and have him on missions but this scramble crap got me so turned off, i just get frustrated and pissed off when i look at him.. so put him in stasis for now...
i wanna color my kub!

agree with OP on this one, i wanna color my kub hands on not waste time on RNG, im rely boooooorrrddd and unhappy about the way my kub looks........ i wont be happy wit having almost the colors i want........... il be here til i know what De gonna do about it :/

i think the colors are both ugly and better depends what you got before, they need to fix so we can color them ourselves to our liking, i like that my kub has darker more defined colors but i still HATE the colors he have and i still think he's ugly and dont fit colorwise... ffs give us the power to color the kub...............

hope thay do cool new stuff like suits, exo armor, badass war helms aso :D Not like the boooriiiinnnnggggg and barely noticeable under the bord small littel crap armor pises like to our frames :/ yeah look at the MSG picture! thats the kubrow i want! and make the sentinel go whit the kubrow like a defender of the pet

well its gone for now, that doesn't mean it won't come back in some way,altho its positive cuz it means DEs are thinking of better options. i spent 600p minimum on the rng machine whit only bad outcomes...and i dont care if i get the Plat back or not, hell if they make me buy colors and petterns i will be just as happy and do it! i just wanna color my kub the way i want and go on missions :)

The rng aspect of coloring things without viable alternatives for platinum is a total mistake and it adds nothing to the game more than frustration.
A game should be fun and appealing to alot of ppl and for that to be it needs easy and viable options.
If we could color the kub the way we want, it would still be alive you still need to take care of the kub, the color of the kub doesn't break the game in any way.
It dosent fit the games logic in my opinion not to be able to color the kub the way we want for Platinum, we can color the frames the sentinels the weapons like we want for it to feel personalised, but not the kub???
The breeding aspect of the kubrow is a cool concept and may be a way for some ppl to get what they like, but that is nothing i want to spend time on, looking at a spamed the hell out chat box isent what i want to do or think is fun about this game....
I love this game and how were able to make frames sentinels and wepons feel personal, i love my kub and how he looks, but i truely HATE his colors! his colors are ugly i dont like em! 600p later and his colors are still ugly! none of the scrambled results was appealing to me colorwise.
The way i feel about not having my kub looking the way i want after 600p is, no fun...... The way i feel about haveing my ugly colored kub in a mission is, no fun.... il still lvl up hes mods and so on in hope that DE gives us options to color them the way we want, i truley hope they do....
Possible fix
Keep the rng 10p a scramble thing for ppl how like it.
Add rng scramble for x amount of credits for ppl how like it that dont want to/or cant spend real money on platinum.
Add the possibility to color the Kub the way you want for x amount of platinum for us how want a more personal coloring option.
Add the possibility to pick what pettern you want for x amount of platinum for us how want a specific pattern.

If I could pay 75 plat for a color pallet of the available blacks, whites, browns, oranges, and blondes that the kubrows currently have available (or even 150 for two pallets that cover them all), I would in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even be against a markup to 100 a piece for kubrow sets, since they're special. Moreover, I'd gladly pay 40 for the specific pattern I want, akin to immortal skins but on a much larger scale. I have absolutely no intention of paying for one color scramble. At all. Ever. There's nothing wrong with the system used for the colors of Warframes, Weapons, and Sentinels.Kubrows having a separate but identical system, while not as good as just letting them tap into the colors of everything else, would work perfectly fine. More people would actually go for it, and, except for a few rare cases, they would spend more in the process. You might as well already have my 240 plat if that's what it costs, but you're getting none until I have some kind of gurantee.
Paying for cosmetic things, and paying for a chance at cosmetic things are two very different things. The gumball analogy is completely wrong here. When you pay for a gumball, you get a gumball, and all gumballs are essentially the same. Moreover, what you get is within a well-defined and very limited set. The nigh-infinte combinations of kubrow colors? Not so much. Let's say I want a black kubrow with yellow somewhere on its legs. Nothing but that is a win. Everything else is a complete failure. Is it remotely worth it to pay anything to get that? No, simply on the grounds that it will never happen. With a gumball, at least I get a wad of gum to chew if I don't get a purple one. With a kubrow? I get something I still don't want to look at.
Let's use that analogy backwards.
There are stores that sell boxes of gumballs. Yes, they are intended as refill packs for other stores. Yes, they do get used like that. No, that doesn't stop people from buying them for personal use. Is it more expensive to buy one of those if all you want is one single color? Yes, yes it is. You're paying for however many colors you don't want while only getting the one. That's what buying a color pallet is, paying a lot for a lot, but only using a few.
Actually? Y'know what? Keep the scramblers. No reason that store can't have gumball machines set up and use their own stock to fill 'em. Just let us buy the boxes/palletes. I'd much rather pay a large amount for something guranteed than a small amount for possibly nothing, but other people might feel different

so far i have gambled 400-600p and haven't even got close to something that i want (except pattern, i love the lotus pattern!) so what did i learn? RNG suuuuuuucks!! is it worth 10p a scrabble? No! the kubrow was the one thing i really looked forward to in update U14. for me the color of my kubrow is verry important!
The RNG color thing destroyed the kubrow fun.....At least for me

I agree 100% with you to, think i gambled about 400p so far and i'm very disappointed.... the colors are just lightish grayish dullish of diffrent colors.... no black, no reds no eye color diffrense. bug? is it even possible to get dark colors???? usually when u gamble u know what's possible to get, here we are left in the dark not knowing even if it's possible to get somewhat what we want. we need more info on things like this!! if they want RNG maby they should break it down so you could gamble on specifics, like just the eye color and on the pettern it self, and the colors of the peterns and so on, it could be an option to pay plat or credits,(which should be more friendly to the ppl that dont have / or dont want to pay) if u want a spesefic color u pay plat and get to pick a spesific color, and if you dont have plat can gamble with credits and then you have a chance to get somting u like and so on or somthing....idk something needs to be done or explained :) Devs = color the kubrow 2.0 Plz! ;)
