  1. Ok, I officialy don't care about this update until they'll fix the damn bug when you're reward screen is stuck after each mission and you have to ALT+F4 the game. Also every time I do that, it will revert my display mode to windowed. I'm not going to do this after each mission....

I enjoyed your feedback. Reminds me of when I first started playing and how little I understood about how the game really works. It's a lot to take in and early on everyone is taken advantage of. As a verteran there isn't much to add to your feedback except pity. I really pity new players and how easily they'll waste time and platinum on mistakes they don't realize they are making. In between your praises I hear your frustrations and I can thank the feedback forums for that. I've always questioned DE's intentions for having a feedback forum without having a test server to develop feedback from. We are only allowed to provide post-update feedback, but posts like yours reminds me why this is a problem.

It is odd though that a feature rich game like this would not have a test server downloadable by the playerbase. Isn't it? Many veterans still think that the PC server is the test server, but it doesn't fit the definition of a test server. However I can understand why they believe a test server isn't necessary. Officially it's an open beta.

However my argument is that once you've been in beta long enough and have stability and a positive player experience hammered out, the developer needs a separate test server to maintain it. Maintaining the positive player experience is what funds further development and toys like the projector theater room (thanks ****** for showing us that).

There is no test server for us to provide feedback about a change before the change permanently alters the gameplay. This lack of hardware/support cripples the positive player experience. Want proof? Remember when they changed survival personal life support drops? That was a nightmare for all players for weeks until they reverted the changes. Could have avoided that embarrassment and a lot of other poorly designed features/changes (survival, excavation, conclave, raids, focus) if they just had a public test server.

It's as if DE doesn't have full time staff to support the feedback-modification-test loop that is needed before an update. Or maybe they do? When was the last time DE acted with any transparency? *shrugs* It's not crowd-funded right, so why be forthcoming to the playerbase?

I really hope DE has good intentions and is not just going to sell their golden goose and walk away with the profits someday. Even if they do sell out I really do believe in the future of warframe. Afterall once the game leaves beta (it has to someday right? right?) someone has to still be playing no matter who the owner is.

The thing I like about Warframe community is that it is still filled with people caring about the game and being positive. I've played PlanetSide 2 for last 2-3 years and I quitted because of the community. Here it still seems pretty healthy and active which is nice to see. And yes I completely agree. Having a sort of testing environment is crucial for players to give out feedback early on. More brains and more eyes equals in more knowledge and useful feedback. I don't really care downloading another warframe or updating it every day, but test server would be really handy.

I must dissagree with you about spy missions. They do have very nice rewards (Ivara). Not repetitive (at least for me) because you can always find a better way to clear each vault. Though i do agree with you about moon spy missions they are very fun.

I don't know. I've been trying to get the dual stat mods from them (that requires to do lot of them) and after time I just got a bit bored because I was going to the same vaults again again and again and knew how to do them the fastest way.:/

  4. This is just an idea guys, but what about to get a frame, which can actually grand you control over some enemy our group of them in the battle? It could be cool to just posses some level 150 heavy gunner and shred everything around for a while. Any ideas about how that could be done or what other abilities could this frame has?

All my yes to this, I started building my dojo and rushing builds with plat yesterday and the entire system for construction is dogS#&$. Needs an overhaul, the clan hall upgrade system is especially stupid, really frustrating. What's worse is that rooms can't overlap each other and there really is no room for error in regards to this issue. You need to make significant plans ahead of time and it just sucks the fun out of the process and turns it into a frustrating chore.

I suggest they add a Birds-eye view when you want to build rooms in the dojo and make it so you can que several rooms up for construction in advance so that planning for the structure of the dojo doesn't have to be done outside the game.

yeah, I mean it would be nice if you could just get to some sort of building mode and prepare blueprints for everything in the dojo and then just build it so you won't have to reconstruct everything and move it around. You just prep it how you want it and then you fund it and build it...

  6. WARNING: THIS IS JUST MY OPINION! And you may have a very different one and I completely understand that. If you do, it would be nice to start a discussion down under this topic so DE could see more opinions and I can maybe learn something new I was missing the hole time. :) And yes, it has 3644 words. :D

    Hey gents,

So I came back after a loooong pause I took on Warframe. I started playing with 4 (I think...) warframes in and enjoyed it a lot and then I kinda slowly burned out... I jump in sometimes for things like new archwings and quests and stuff but not that much... Now I started to play a lot again so I'd just like to give some general feedback on things I'd love to be changed by DE. Before I get to that, I should say that I have about 500+ hours in-game so I'm not any super end-game guy who has everything and stuff like that. And secondly I'd love to thanks DE that they still care about this game because I've seen many games died when I had the break from Warframe because developers just stopped giving a damn about it... Warframe is still alive and that's good. And thirdly, I came back with a nice group of about 8-10 friends to play with so I'll include that fact into the feedback as well. We're also keen on spending some real money to get that platinum running in our accounts so I'll consider that as well. With that being said, let's jump into the feedback.

    Platinum:

Now I know it's a bit weird to start with things like that, but I feel like this is pretty important thing to lot of people around me. I think that this currency will probably have a bit of problem in the future. It's not that hard to get some platinum by just playing and using trade chat which is completely fine, but I do feel like the prices if you want to buy some platinum for real money are a bit strange. The normal prices without any sales seem to be a bit higher than I expected. Yes, you can get the 75% sale on it and in that case it's becoming super cheap. What I would probably suggest is to lower the prices of the standard platinum and higher the prices of the one with a sale for a small amount and drop the sales a bit more often (not just the 75% ones but the other ones like 25% or 50% mainly). I don't have any statistics to support this but I feel like this could bring a lot more people who would actually buy it. The thing is even if you buy a decent amount of platinum, it's gone really fast in this game because you can use it to do so much stuff like speeding up foundry, buying cosmetics, buying blueprints, buying resources and more and more... All of that combined eats a lot of platinum.

    Solo gameplay:

I know this is not the main focus of warframe but I should still address this. I sometimes play alone when I don't have my friends online and I don't want to play with public for reasons I will state below. My only concern with solo gameplay are revives. I think the price and number of revives should vary depending on the level of the mission and number of players in that mission. If you're going T1 Survival, it's not going to be that big issue even alone. If you're going T4 80min survival alone it might start to get a bit trickier. And of course if you pack your 3 other friends with you, it's going to be nothing. So of course, if you're running the group of 4 people, revives should be pretty expensive because allies can revive you in short period of time. If you're going alone, you just die and you have to spend that revive in order to continue.

Co-op gameplay with friends and public:

Let's start with playing with friends: this is the most fun for me and probably most of the people playing Warframe. It has only one issue for me connected specifically to this and the public as well and that is the number of enemies. I know DE are trying to keep the game running well but if you're running in team of 2-4 decent people and even on etc. T4 Survival, you're getting really bored until you get pass like 40 minutes because you kill enemies very fast and there is not so many of the around. So you basically run around the map like lost and search for any enemy you can find - same for defence or mobile defence. This also applies for the public game.

But there is one bigger issue with the public game and that is the lobby system. It happened to me so many times that I just switched to public to play some mission and after that several things happened. Firstly, I had to find a mission with public squads on it - not that big issue, UI tells me, everything alright here. Secondly I tried to connect to somebody and here comes the issue. Sometimes you're lucky, you connect and everything is fine. But sometimes you connect, for some reason you disconnect but you still see yourself in the session - you have to restart the game. Sometimes you connect, it connects you and then disconnects you while loading the mission - you're still in the session with other = restart. Sometimes you connect and somebody leave including the host - you have to wait for 5 minutes before the game does the host migration or you get stuck, it will kick you off and sometimes even crash the game. Note that this might be my personal issues but all 9 of my friends have the same problems so I don't think this is just me.

    Enemies and AI:

This was main biggest issue back in the beginning times of Warframe. Since then a lot of things have improved. I must admit I was very happy to see many different enemies for each faction and some very interesting ones like Bursa. But there is one thing I really miss about enemies. All of them (with very few exceptions) are the same category - kill that guy. They all shoot you or slam you with something. What do we do? We have damage warframes, crowd control, support, tank, ... Why don't they have something similar? One good example is the infestation healer. On high levels, you have to take them down first so you can then kill the others way faster. I really miss good support enemies or other types. I mean DE are very creative about warframes and their abilities and you too guys so I think we can definitely put some more enemy types together. Of course with this comes the AI of those types. Healers and support guys should stay a bit behind. Every time I see a healer, he just gets through all of his allies towards me to kill me. If he would stay back to support the others, he would make me way more troubles especially on high-level mission.

The second thing is enemy weaponry. We have so much different weapons for our Warframes divided into 3 types. It would be cool if enemies would have something similar. Hey, I run out of ammo in primary and that Rhino is going to stomp me to the ground? Well I still have secondary... Oh wait he's 1 meter in front of my, why don't I use my melee? It would be cool to have something like that. And also, we have sooo many different weapons and enemies are mostly stuck with some rifles or machine guns and that's pretty much it. I'd love to see more variety in enemy weaponry. You don't have to add new stuff, just use the things we already have in the game. :)

    Kubrows:

I love dogs so I was so excited about this thing when DE added it. I'd just love to see that puppies running around my ship completely free with the main Kubrow resting for another mission plz. And now seriously (I still want that thing with puppies please), Kubrows had one major issue. We're unable to control them. I'd love to see some command UI similar to emotes or something like that where we can command our Kubrows to for etc.: Stay on this place (handy for spy missions), Go there (general navigation), Come back to me (general navigation), Protect this target (handy for rescues or reviving fallen mates), Kill that target (handy for captures or just killing dangerous things). Also a thing to add there would be three "stances" for the Kubrow like: Aggressive (Kubrow will gain wide range of movement around the warframe and hunt for everything he will see and consider enemy or loot and bring the stuff back, Defensive (Kubrow will stay close to the warframe and only attack enemies who attack the warframe or the kubrow and loot just in small area) and Causal which will be something between. This could gain us lot more control over our Kubrows and add them another dimension.

Missions (loot, systems, locations, loot caves):

Now this is probably going to be long and hard part because this is one of the main issues of warframe in general and lot of other games of this type and it is really hard to fix. This game is just monotonous in terms of its basic missions. It was way worse back in the beginning times but it's still definitely not anything nice. Yes, every planet has its own tileset now. That's a very positive thing. But pretty much all the missions on that planet look the same. Every map on that specific planet looks the same. You have a different objective but mostly you see the same locations over and over again. There are two ways to fix that. Either make more mission areas on the same tileset and put them on the mission or make one reaaaaaally big one and put the missions on different parts of that area. I'd also love to see a bit more interaction with the surrounding like being able to destroy certain walls or objects to create or block certain passages and stuff like that but that is not that important.

Defence mission are probably one of the most boring ones. What can fix this is shifting of the object you have to defend or changing its surrounding. I've seen some experiments with putting the objects for defence mission on an elevator which go up and down but that's still just 1 change. I'd love to see more objects to defend with 2-3 stages of it so if somebody decides to go 50+ waves it won't get THAT repetitive.

Mobile defence are divided into different areas but I'd just like a small addition of every area being a bit different so you don't defend the same terminal but just on different place but this time you have more cover for it and some nice traps to use or something in that matter. This thing doesn't have to shift nor have stages, just edit the surrounding to make it more explosive or dangerous for both enemies and the warframes as well.

Capture missions are just simple captures of a certain target. What I'd love to see here is more target types to capture and the targets having an actual BIG security going with them. Just to make this a bit longer I don't think I have anything to add to exterminate missions. It's simple, you go there, you kill everything moving and you go out.

The same goes for rescue mission. More targets to rescue please and different variations of their prisons with stronger securities and maybe other prisoners you can but don't have to rescue as optional bonuses. To make this a bit longer as well interceptions are kinda fine as well for me and I also have no idea how to change them or make any shifting there. :P

And for the spy missions which I hoped I will enjoy... I don't... They are VERY repetitive. I'd love to see them even more complicated with nicer rewards and maybe some optional hidden loot rooms as well hidden inside the vaults. And mainly I'd love to see way more types of them. Now we have about 3-4 grineer spy vaults and that is definitely not enough. The moon spy mission are really interesting and nice so I'd love to see more stuff like that implemented even for the causal ones.

What I definitely miss are the crossfire missions. Yes in invasions you join one side to fight the other one but I'd really love to see more missions when you just jump into a fight of grineer army versus the corpus one and just kill everything in there. And when I talk about armies I really mean armies and not just small squads please. :)

    Alerts:

Alerts are nice diversification from casual mission but most of the times they are not even worth running for me. The rewards are just too low. I know they have to be balanced even for the beginning players but higher rewards wouldn't kill anybody in this case I believe. Also it would be nice to search for some hidden caches or loot rooms during the alert missions for some extras goodies. I'd also love to meet some more interesting enemies on alert mission ale Bursas, Prosecutors, Juggernauts or more.

    Invasions:

Another very nice idea, but with different rewards. Sometimes you can get a really nice reward but sometimes it's pretty bad. I don't think the rewards for invasions should be higher, just some extra secret rooms with loot or mods or parts would be nice and also adding a more immersion or actual armies fighting each other, not just squads would be really nice. I would also completely change the system of invasions. Every of them have three stages. I'd love to see them like this: 1st mission is spy to get enemy Intel and access to the ship, 2nd is crossfire when you just get there with the other faction and kill most of their enemies and 3rd part would be sabotage when you destroy the ship and finish the invasion.

    Syndicate missions:

I feel like syndicate mission are really missing something. It's basically standard mission but you're saving your guy from your syndicate or killing the enemy one and you get two AIs with you. Nice, but I don't feel like that will satisfy me for a long time. Again, some watches or guards from the enemy syndicate would be nice. Maybe your enemies know you are there and they can prepare and ambush for you. Maybe they also called their allied syndicate to help them so now you're fighting two and not just one. And maybe your allied syndicate also send somebody else who screwed your stealth mission and took the target so now you just have to eliminate everybody and clean the tracks. These are all different ideas for syndicate mission which would make them a bit different and more enjoyable for me.

    Sorties:

Another thing I missed a lot was some end-game content. Sorties and raids delivered that in some way but not as well as expected for me. Sorties are nice mission with high-tier enemies but they have one issue - they are really short. Exterminates could have a bit more targets to kill, mobile defences could get even more terminals to defend, captures could have more targets to capture and rescues more targets to rescue. This would put people in front of decisions. Will we split and go for all of the rescues targets and or will we go one by one? Each option has pros and cons and that makes it a bit special again... Now for survivals and defences: why are they so short? The first thing I expected was enemies levelling from 70 to about 130 in 30 minutes of survival. The levels are higher than I expected but the survival or defence missions are just short. This all usually result in me being done very quick with them which is shame for me. :/ And finally the assassination missions. It's a big sham that they are the same as the normal ones but just with higher level. It would be nice to have some random encounter during them in some form of miniboss or something similar to that. Again it would make the sortie missions more alive.

    Raids:

I don't have anything to Law of Retribution. The only thing I'd like to see is separated Jordas Verdict for normal and nightmare difficulty. So the standard raid would be slightly easier than the current one and the nightmare harder than the current one with some changes specific for the nightmare version as the Jordas Verdict does. Raids are a thing I enjoy the most in warframe because it is made for 4-8 people which is awesome and great fun.

    Warframes:

I love how creative can DE be with different kinds and styles of warframes and their abilities. I love especially the frames where you should combine most of your abilities to make the most out of it. But there is one thing I miss. We have lot of tank and damage dealing frames. The last ones are all pretty tanky or damage-dealing frames. What I miss are some new kinds of crowd-control warframes and especially support warframes. Right now, we have Trinity (and Trinity Prime)...aaand that's pretty much it. That's kinda sad don't you think?

    Archwings:

This was and still is my major disappointment in Warframe. This thing has soooo much potential but it's sooo unused and unfinished. The first thing are the bugs in this mode. That's the thing I hate the most right now. Getting killed because you hit a wall or obstacle which you didn't actually hit is really annoying and requires a fix for this mode to be enjoyable. Another problem is getting instakilled by the rockets from Hellion Dargyn (and maybe some other things - don't know, noticed just this one). I like the idea of a challenge and the need of being carefull all the time, but it doesn't work. There is no notice about the incomming missiles or if it for some magical reason works, it's completely unnoticable. It either needs to get a big warning or be removed because the archwing missions are really annoying with this in them.

The second thing is the implementation of archwings in the game - I won't count the "new" raid which I really like for that archwing parts. There are very few missions specifically for archwings. I'd love to have about twice more with different tilesets to play in. Also it would be nice to include them into normal missions. Something similar to Uranus but no that much. I love the idea of underwater combat with them as well but that can't be the case for every planet. Also it should be just on some missions and not all of them. Uranus for underwater missions is nice but what for other planets? Maybe the passage to the next area of ship or part of land on the ground is not accessible by ground and we need to pass there by air in archwing. Maybe the ship is torn apart and we need to shift between different parts of the ship with archwing as well. This would give them more purpose and make them important for normal missions as well.

The other thing is that we have just 3 types of archwings with couple of weapons and very few mods. Warframe is fun because there is always something new to try or many options to choose from. This is not the case for archwing missions. I'd love to see new archwings with new abilities and mods and new weapons coming for them as well please. And also, give us archwing for our sentinel or kubrow please. I'd love to have my Kubrow with me. :3

    Weaponry:

Let's talk about this a bit as well. My main focus will be secondaries. Primaries and melees have a lot of use in the game currently and are used a lot. With secondaries it's a bit different story. We use them when we run out of ammo or if we are stuck in a reload when we need to shoot. Another thing is we use them when we're down waiting for revive from teammate. I'd add one more thing. Let us shoot from secondaries when we are reviving somebody else. Most of the deaths in warframe are from reviving somebody else. Being able to shoot secondary would give us at least some way to defend.

    Focus:

I can't say much about focus trees now because I haven't experience enough to give my full opinion on them. However from my current experience (using Naramon) I feel like Naramon tree adds completely new dimension and possibilities how to play the game. I don't think that is the case for the other ones. I'm not saying nerf Naramon. I'm not saying buff the other ones. I'm saying try to find a way for the other trees to add that new dimension and possibilities for new builds and different playstyles for the other trees as well please.

If you made it down here by reading the whole thing, thank you for having the patience to do so. If you have anything to add or discuss because you agree or disagree, feel free to quote, post it below and comment on the part.

  7. We decided to start our own small clan and there are more issues we have with current Dojo system, but right now, I'd like to address one specific one: Clan Halls

    What are the issues?

The thing is, we can't place more halls of the same type and also delete the smaller ones, when we finally build the big one. It's annoying if you want to build multiple grandest halls or grand halls and you can't.

    How to possibly fix that?

For the option of multiple big clan halls there is just one solution: just adding that feature. And about that deleting of sister halls or even the general thing about clan halls, it would be nice to maybe get some sort of upgrade mechanism when you can upgrade the starting hall or other ones with proper materials and stuff all the way up to the grandest hall.

And that's about it for the feedback on clan halls. :)
