  1. If you're like me and run almost every daily syndicate mission for medallions, it's pretty tedious to have to clear the entire level of these generic icons to make sure you don't miss a medallion. Especially if there's a survival daily where you constantly have to worry about life support, as well as clearing the map of those icons at the same time.

It would be really convenient if stuff like...

    - containers

    - resources/coordinates

    - mods

    - sabotage caches

    - syndicate medallions

...had their own unique icon on the minimap with loot radar.

  2. Will Simaris/Teshin ever be added to the syndicate terminal on the Liset?

It doesn't help with how slow the movement is in the relay. It's a bit of a pain having to slow jog across the entire relay, then up a lift - to check something as basic as how much rep you have with them, and to browse each of their offerings. I'm not asking to copter in the relay, I just want to sprint at a reasonable pace.

  3. First off the Liset is cool as hell and super immersive, but things like having to sift through submenus or actually walking/slow jogging to different modules of the ship is getting repetitive. I miss where things like the arsenal and foundry were always at the top of the screen, and when you exit, you're already ready to go on the star chart. That ease of access was lost when the Liset came along.

I think I've found a solution that will help how the menus flow, and wont involve remaking the whole ship UI.

I have a slight issue with this too.

Therefore I don't have to mash ESC to back out of the arsenal/foundry to then finally get access the pause menu. Sure I could just drag my mouse to click something in the very to left corner of my screen, but I'd rather just bind it to something within reach of my left hand like tab. It'll flow better IMO.

  4. Specifically just Warframe, PhysX works on every other game I own that uses it. With the option enabled on 64 bit, there are no PhysX particles to be seen in-game. I remember melee weapon channeling produced some, obviously a lot of abilities produced some, and also I remember capturing targets produced a lot, but none are there with the option enabled.

I made a ticket a few months ago about PhysX not working for me, and whomever confirmed it was a bug, but it remains unfixed. That was long before I came to the realization that it could be how the game functions on Windows 8.1. I made a thread about it in Players Helping Players subforum, and someone replied having the same issue. I highly doubt it's a issue on our end since I've tried about everything I've found by googling.

So I'm assuming 99% of DE still uses Windows 7 which is why this bug has been around for so long, and the players that have upgraded to Windows 8.1 haven't really noticed it's absence in the midst of gameplay.

  5. So it's been slightly bothering me for quite awhile that PhysX stopped working for me ages ago, possibly even a year. I first noticed it when the setting in display option was grayed out, later I discovered it became a 64 bit only. Switching to 64 bit made the option available but with it enabled, PhysX was still not functioning.

Effects I used to remember were simply non-existent, I'm pretty sure melee channeling produced some, obviously a ton of abilities produced some, capturing targets produced some but none of them are there with the option enabled for me.

I said "Warframe's PhysX" in the title because PhysX works fine in every other game I know that uses it. Even reinstalled Borderlands 2 to see if it still worked on that and it did. I've done a ton googling to find a solution, to see if it was anything on my end but nothing worked.

Then I got to thinking, last year I upgraded to Windows 8.1, and I can't say for certain that PhysX was working after the upgrade. I know DE still uses Windows 7 (evident from streams and such), so could this just be something they simply haven't noticed? Could be wrong, though. If you have Windows 8.1 and Warframe's PhysX works then please tell me.

The game teleports you when you go too deep, meaning you can't even reach the medallion without the game dragging you away from it. Also for some reason, after the teleport you cant move, shoot, or use abilities. You have to either abort or wait until the enemies kill you.

  7. The Perrin Sequence sent their moa death squad while I was doing an infestation outbreak invasion for the corpus. They spawned in and this happened...

They stayed like this the whole mission. Seems like they broke because the corpus were my allies in this mission, and since the death squad is technically corpus, the game made them allies too. Regardless of the fact that the Perrin Sequence aren't friends with the corpus.

This probably would happen with the Cephalon Suda drone death squad, and the Steel Meridian's roller death squad if I was doing an invasion for the grineer.

  8. So this has been slightly bothering me ever since this game entered closed beta, and has been repeated since, i.e. corpus gas city and even the new infested tileset.

Ever wonder why there are essentially empty doorframes leading directly into empty space while waiting for extraction?

    ieVzjNq2JiNCs.png

What purpose did the Grineer/Corpus give these rooms? They're basically built for the sole purpose for a Liset to attach to them. So why would enemies of the Tenno create these rooms when it seemingly serves no purpose to them? They certainly don't look like proper airlocks to dock with other ships Corpus/Grineer ships.

    Then there's rooms like this.

    iGAHg9QaO6gyo.png

There are definitely not 4 liset ships attached to that single wall that close together at the same time. This is what breaks the immersion for me. Jokingly, unless Lisets have some orokin technology that allows them to phase through one another. All extraction rooms should just have one.

My reccomendation, tweak the tiles to look they have a proper airlock system. Simply adding a small inaccessible corridor past the current exit that you can see through glass pane on a locked door would make me believe it's a airlock and not a out of place doorframe.

Definitely not a priority issue, but I would love to see this change someday.

  9. Hi, just wanted to make a quick thread about UI that needs to be updated to the U14 ship hologram style.

Some that I mention may very well be in the works already, though I just want to be thourough.

Chat is using pre-U14 UI style.

Profile Icon screen is using the first generation UI style.

Defense Reward Screen is using the first generation UI. Also, instead of a generic Grineer trooper for every Defense mission, it should actually show what faction you're currently fighting.

Inventory menu is using one of the first iterations of a new UI after the original blue border UI if I recall correctly.

Foundry used this style for a short time, but the inventory is still using it.

Here's what the foundry looked like in that style to jog your memory.

Feel free to mention any UI I may have missed.

  10. Quick & short question, why is every weapon after U12 clan tech?

It's really frustrating having to wait three days for every weapon that get's added. I would love it if you guys wen't back to putting new weapon blueprints in the marktet, or alternatively, reduce the research time to at least one day.

  11. Seriously, I just tried out Galatine and burst out laughing. You literally just hold it straight up with one hand (not to mention is a giant claymore) while your arm is bent at like 90 degrees. It looks even more ridiculous while you move. I realize the animation has been hard at work, but they really cut corners on some of these animations that they look like they hired some amateur animator.

Overall, there's quite a few idle, walking/sprint animations that are way too stiff and awkward. I hope this is something that will be improved over time because right now it looks more comical than badass when you're going melee only.
