  1. I one time got the tar beat out of me on a high level infested mission. At one point when both my health and shields showed zero, I didn't die, or even go down. I had no energy, but I could still run and shoot. After about 10 seconds I went down and then slid across the map to the point I should of went down. No chance to revive or anything. Insta-death. Pretty certain it was due to lag.

  2. These are supposedly all old place holder sounds that are due to be replaced with the new Grineer and Corpus language (source: latest livestream). Most of these sound bites are 10 years old (or more). Check out the original 2004 Dark Sector trailer on Youtube and listen closely.

  3. You say "learned" like you're teaching something. I've "read and understood" what you've said and still disagree. Only thing I've learned is that you lack the ability to convey your point without being both condescending and insulting.

So I'm just gonna agree to disagree because otherwise we're just doing laps around the same track over and over.

  4. How do you know? Have you ever met the guy? I sure haven't.

I've heard things - you know - one of the very few perks from being in the GIA (Grineer Intelligence Agency)

I've heard he is almost ten foot tall and could honestly BENCH Lech Kril - temper and all. The only reason he is the Corpus Ambassador in Grineer dealings is because even one of our guys would have to be stark raving mad to pick a fight.

Technology? Betcha he has access to it. I've heard his bodyguards are given tech that would qualify as Science-fiction material even in this day and age. That is saying a lot what with the bloodthirsty Warframe wearing madmen emptying ships.

I mean c'mon man. This is the Corpus we are talking about. They don't put you on a job unless you are going to make that deal sing for the Board and this guy is who they picked to remind the Grineer Empire of the stalemate they are stuck in.

I'd honestly be surprised if he didn't end up hoisting an Ash frame by the ankles and using him to bludgeon a Rhino or two to death.

  5. He has a point though, we did blindly destroy each and every ship because we had rare mods dangled in front of our faces.

It's all in how you spin it. Lotus says we did it to maintain the balance of power in the system and not let the Grineer get to far ahead. Corpus says we did it for mods.

  6. I don't think that's true anymore. The anti-faction mods increase base damage if the Wiki is right, so they increase elemental as well. Vs Grineer for example a +30% to base damage next to your Armor Penetration and Damage mods will do more than a +90% fire mod.

If you don't know what you're facing, having Armor Penetration damage and +30% to every faction might even be better than rainbow, since base damage is always the highest number to begin with and we're dealing with % increases.

You may be correct here. I'm sure somebody will do a spreadsheet soon enough.

Still, if the best version is dependant upon swapping mods every time you face a different faction, I'll take the slight loss in DPS just to set my mods once and leave it.

  7. never in history has there ever been an axe with an earthquake knock down yet here we are.

gunblades wouldn't fit tenno very well in my opinion but then again ogris doesn't either :/

Now you're just grasping at stuff that is only remotely related to the topic just to get a classic internet comments insult in. Nice try.

  8. No, you don't get to do that.  You said you were against imposing your playstyle on others, then go ahead and say that the literally ANYONE can impose their playstyle upon me because you don't like it in online play?!?  Wow... just... wow...

Never seen such flagrant double standard!

A double standard? Are you insane? The trolls that are doing this are jerks and they should stop. But implementation of a system that also takes valid functionality from the honest players is wrong. And forcing a play style upon them wholesale. That's the difference.

  9. Still my point is that while Final Fantasy is popular sure, the overall genre it fits by no means reflects what the majority of gamers enjoy.

Hell, World of Warcraft has a huge following too, but larger than life armor sets would not fit here either.

  10. aaah well so far all the guns are shooting little projectiles at difference speed and damage,so im not sure how i could love how something works, it kinda comes down to numbers to a certain extent to me,some reason i do love them despairs...

still experimenting with shotguns... have yet tried  using lazers and/or any clan tech

however my highly lethal rocket powered fart launcher torid is being made being the first..hopping that will appeal to me

But it's HOW they send those projectiles downrange that makes all the difference.

    I'll give a few examples.

Boltor - Some don't mind a weapon you have to account for projectile travel time with. Some can't stand it.

Burston - Modded it's great. A lot of folks don't like the burst only and barrel rise from the recoil.

Latron - Some love a precise, single shot, hard hitting rifle. Some can't live without full auto.

Grakata - Simple, you either love or hate a bullet hose.

That's what play style is. You pick the stuff that fits how you like to play. Or you pick the absolute best statwise weapon and deal with it. Different strokes for different folks man.
