- Description:
Screen freeze when entering Operator's room. Also occurs if entering room via the Operator options in the menu rather than going in on foot. The game continues playing and the sound suggests that the game is still responding to movement and other key presses but the screen is totally frozen. Alt-tabbing has no effect and only Ctrl-Alt-Delete will let me get back to the desktop. There are no crash messages or warnings about the graphics driver having crashed and restarted. System is running Win 8.1 with twin GTX590's in SLI using current drivers.
- Can you reproduce the bug:
So far it seems to happen every time. Changing equipped frame and gear had no effect.
- Reproduction steps:
Just head into the Operator room.

It seems more like an intentional decision based on the way conflicts will work in dark sectors now. You very well couldn't solo something intended to be a 4v4.
But, it's not in conflict so why the heck can I not play it in solo mode? :I
So work around it for the moment. Change from solo to invite only and run the mission without inviting anyone else. Sure, you won't be able to pause but at least you'll get some farming done before you get overrun/choked out.

Do you have a gamepad or other controller plugged in? If so, does disconnecting it make any difference?

OK, that's just plain weird. I logged in to collect stuff from the Foundry and queue up my Volt - in all I collected all three Volt parts, an Akstiletto, a Gorgon and a Pangolin Sword but I didn't swap any equipment over. I can now build Specters. What did I do?

There is a thread in the bugs forum where people are sharing info on this problem:

Same here, swapping frames/weapons/etc. did nothing for me. I'm going to see if using brand new frames and equipment makes any difference - my Oberon will be ready tomorrow night and I've just queued up the Volt parts so he'll be ready on Friday.

I'm not alone in this then... same issue here too.

I've managed to get it working again by turning SLI off for Warframe. If you're also running a dual GPU system then it might be worth doing the same to see if it helps. The problem seems be down to performance under SLI (and presumably also CrossFire) to some extent. I've had one further freeze since turning it off but that in the main body of the Liset and I was alt-tabbed... haven't been able to reproduce that.
