  1. In the screenshot, you can see the illusion killed the (low level) grineer, but only the damage number pops up. There is no affinity number, and no affinity is added to the total count in the progress bar. Also, the kill doesn't count towards kill number nor mission task.

    http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1296524348

Edit for clarification: Kills with the original Mirage do give affinity as intended. This bug affects both Mirage and Mirage Prime.

  2. I don't understand why nobody ever answers constructive feedback on the forums and instead focus on rants.

I have created a topic here explaining the main flaw of the sortie reward system and some options to fix it, yet nobody cares. Granted this subforum is aimed at the devs instead of the players but it's useless when the true feedback is hidden below tons of rants. *end rant*

  3. The main problem with the sortie weapons as of right now, is the limited supply of rarer parts due to the weighted drop chance on them. The current system of non-repeatable rewards through the checklist is incredibly counterintuitive and is the main reason for the reduction of such parts, starting with the Strun Wraith's season. The main flaw lies in the way the reroll works when the drop is already in inventory.

After running almost every daily sortie for the past seasons, I'm still missing some parts for the weapons offered, such as the aforementioned Strun Wraith and now the Sheev. However, I had no problem trading duplicated parts for the Karak Wraith and the Dera Vandal in order to build them, and since the sortie rewards checklist was implemented, all that can be done is play every daily sortie and pray for RNG to drop the rarest part of the season, because otherwise the special weapon offered is not gonna be completed without buying what's missing from the trade chat. For instance, the current WTB price for Snipetron Vandal receiver is 250p, and Sheev parts are rising over 50p, around twice the WTS offers from yesterday, being only one day since they were swapped out.

The way the current sortie checklist works is:

    1. You get a certain item from the reward list.
    2. That reward gets checked out from your available drops.
    3. If you happen to receive the same reward on a subsequent sortie, the game will reroll the rewards only from the items that do not have a checkbox next to them: cores, catalysts, reactors, exilus adapters. This is the main flaw.

That means, anyone who doesn't have the first reward will get it, but everyone else who has it already, will get most presumably 25 cores. From what I understand, the main purpose of the checklist is to avoid giving duplicates, but that is not fulfilled in the current state of the game. There are several ways to solve this problem, including reverting to the no-checklist version of the sorties, but in order to keep the checklist I have thought of 2 options:

OPTION 1: The sortie checklist reroll phase should be able to give anything that doesn't have a checkmark next to it, including weapon parts that are not in the player's inventory. However, if the player has already built the weapon or Nezha, they should be automatically checked out from the list on day one of the new season. Once everything has been checked out, it should not reroll at all, allowing players to obtain duplicates (mostly lenses for the Focus system and weapon parts to trade with other players, please no more Nezha parts).

OPTION 2: The player should be able to manually tick any items already in inventory, but only if they're already built. Example: I already own Nezha and have fully leveled him to 30, and I do not want to keep receiving his parts as rewards from sorties, so I tick them off the list and the game will reroll for everything else except Nezha parts if i happen to get one. As of right now, I do not own Snipetron Vandal, therefore the system should not allow me to tick those parts off the list, even if I have the parts but have not built it. This allows me to get duplicates which can then be traded with other players to complete the weapon, after which I can tick all the parts off the list.

This should allow players to get all the rewards from any season granted enough days to complete the checklist, apart from enough duplicates to trade with people that have not completed the whole season, instead of having half the rewards from the list (adding on to my 27 Nezha Chassi) and a stockpile of cores/potatoes/adapters/Nezha parts like I currently do, having to buy the rest through the trade chat from "max profit or nothing" sellers. I can predict the price of Snipetron Vandal parts skyrocketing after the season's end, even though any semi-dedicated player should have one after completing the season.

  4. Here's my try on a Tower 4 Survival (ugh cores on rotation B):

    1701E11F78695460EDDDE277B9B10F5CCC462012

I didn't activate focus. Nothing was specified about Warframe passives. And no I didn't want to use Nikana Prime (seems like everyone else used it in Tower 3 Survival, so C-C-COMBO BREAKER! x2).

Also, Corrupted Vor died in like 10 hits. Surprisingly easy I'd say, but had fun doing it anyway.

I'd like 1 Naramon and 1 Vazarin Greater Lenses please, and thank you!

  5. Don't mind if I... showoff?

There's too many colors, so no pallete-positions. But you can get close enough with the screenshots if you want to replicate.

For some reason Steam screenshots also capture the cursor. So sorry if it gets in the way.

Listed as frame (alphabetical) and accent colors (if any) that you can change to suit your liking while keeping the overall looks. I recommend shades of the same color in multiple accents.

I have not run into any other instance of this outside the specified locations.

All of my settings are on max, with runtime tessellation and PhysX enabled, Bloom is disabled, and Anisotropic Filtering is set to 4x.

After doing some research, it might have to do with Nvidia GeForce Driver issues with Warframe, but this problem has been around in the infested mass for about 4 or 5 driver releases. I do not use GeForce Experience.

    My specs:

Intel Core i5-4440 @ 3.1GHz (yes, I unparked the cores)

    8 GB RAM Kingston HyperX

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 950 with latest drivers version 359.06

    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

  7. Whenever I play Warframe, I get several freezes for about 3-5 secs on any action performed, even on the Liset when opening Foundry, Mods or Arsenal.

Although I can load into missions pretty fast, it starts freezing at the cinematic (Liset moving, Warframe dropping onto surface) and afterwards whenever I move, it freezes again and again, while showing a blurry render, as if the textures were just being loaded, even though when it's not frozen I get a high framerate.

It does not have anything to do with Solo or Squad missions, but when I host everyone gets dc'ed while my game is frozen.

I have already tried several solutions, including unparking cores, lowering settings from High to Low, disabling DX10, DX11 and multithreading, running in 32 bit, disabling PhysX, updating drivers,... but the results were the same every time. I am absolutely sure it's not the CPU nor the GPU overheating, and looking back at the collection of topics with the same issues, probably nothing is being done about this.

    CPU: Intel i5 4440

    GPU: Nvidia GTX 950 2GB

    RAM: 8GB DDR3

    OS: Windows 7 Pro 64 SP1

P.D.: Also, for some weird reason Warframe runs flawlessly (no freezes, hitches or stutters) on medium/low settings on Intel HD 4600. Yes, on integrated, which makes no sense whatsoever.
