  1. Belt Attachment Slot.

Very simple, can be aesthetic or have a purpose.

I often feel a large portion of the warframe is not customizable, that is the central waist, upper thigh and lower arms area. This could include holsters for your secondary and melee weapons if you so choose. Keeping their position so the animation stays the same.

Hope some of that was enough to generate a bit of interest.

  2. It seems more and more as the game progresses we are turning more and more into Spartans from the Halo series rather than Warframes. Even some of the backstory is similar. Genetically enhanced / altered humans inside of a suit that are the strongest of any force out there, yet are few in numbers and we NEVER see the person inside the suit.

    1. All sorts of non-ninjalike weaponry. It's understandable to a point; of course we aren't going to just stick to katana's, shurikens, and bows, this is of course the future and that simply won't cut it anymore. But several different types of explosive weaponry along with light machine guns? feels a bit off.

2.Armor.Ninja's don't wear armor. It makes noise and lowers mobility. On top of that, with enough armor we start looking more like Spartans and less like Warframes.

    3. Stealth is still not rewarded or very viable with most frames. Don't get me wrong, unless stealth was really well rewarded, i'd still most likely blaze through missions blasting away at everything in my path. It just doesn't feel right considering we are supposed to be "space ninjas" and yet hardly anyone stealths; even in rescue 2.0, a mission type where stealth was pushed to be "necessary", we are able to rush on through as long as no one touches the alarm.

In conclusion, I would like some of these things to be worked on; more ninja-like weaponry and stealth to finally get a good overhauling. I would hate for the Tenno to turn into more generic "SPACE MUHREENS" instead of awesome space ninjas.

Spartans to me need large polearms and a shield, we have one of those, but we don't work in a coordinated unit which is the main thing that makes me shake my head when you describe tenno as spartans.

However I think it best to say tenno are tenno, and leave it at that. Stealth could do with more bonuses the primary one being a quicker movement speed, at the moment the level would be over before you killed anyone if 3 stealthed and one didn't. This also comes down to the game needing some counter to the high DPS solo player who can walk through everything, and no I don't mean doors ;) I mean enemies (or groups) which require two people no matter your dps.

    -edit

Just realised you were not talking about spartans but the other spartans! Curses :D

  3. We need some enemies that can get behind us for a change, surprise us from the floor/ceiling/wall or lay in weight, or those we have to flee from for a short period of time while they are beserk etc.

At the moment 95% of the game can be summed up like this: Get the highest DPS possible and blitz it. Now it does this in style but this is the basic mechanic.

We need a DPS counter of some kind, like a periodic enemy ability that heals for 5 seconds when receiving DPS, so people have to time their attacks and think. Even a decent shield that I can't just chop through in a few hits, maybe hit boxes with weak spots etc

I saw a lot of the enemy suggestions from players and the main gist of them I agree on a lot of them is, making enemies less predictable. Coming up through the floor, acting as objects till you get close, getting behind you, teleport and stalking you invis etc,

Please, please counter my ability to just blitz ahead of the team solo and kill everything by my self. Make some enemy that by its nature requires two people to take down, not from its raw strength just from the way it plays.

  4.

Also they should make it so if you die, and you get the "Revive or forfeit" buttons, if you click the forfeit button, and there's still at least one player still alive, you should get a pop up saying "If you forfeit now, you risk losing the rewards, be patient, your fellow tenno are still alive and are able to complete the mission, hang in there.  I say this because I've ran a few survival missions where we ran out of air after 20 or 30 minutes, me and one or two other players are 20 meters away from the extraction point, and one of the other guys who was lagging behind dies, forfeits right as we get to the extraction point. But most of the guys who do this are the newer players, and the players who haven't been playing since before survival was added. It kills me when I see players disconnect seconds before the remaining players make it to the extraction point and extract, all of that work, and it goes down the drain because they didn't take the time to go "Hey, I'm dead, will I still get the rewards and progress for completing this mission?" and/or being un-informed of how the game works.

Sorry I just read this and wanted to say yes! :D Those desperate moments when I realise the groups never going to make it back in time, as we've just pushed it too long are some of the most fun i've ever had in this game, and to see new players not realise about the rewards, and quit because they didn't make it to extraction is a sad thing indeed :).

  5. I had a weird bug related to this, I was out ahead on a fairly easy mission, never faced stalker before :D. As I blitz through most things in this game with ease I thought no sweat, obviously I died.

However the bug was, when I died the entire mission communication was relayed again, telling me to attack an objective, then telling well done and to move on to the next and so on. Till it got back to where it was before, which was extraction. It was only the comms that were messed up though, nothing else on the level.

I've had loads of death marks for a week though so I was surprised i'd never seen it before.

  6. i think these doors should strip buffs too. (invisibility / rhino skin / etc)

and these immune-from-one-side doors should be increased in frequency!

teach you to use punch-through more often. ;)

I tend to agree as at present I just run through them. I am usually in a melee warframe though and it isn't worth the time to stop, switch weapons, shoot and then carry on. The shield sapping doors are a bit more of a pain but as a valk, it doesn't make much odds to me even then, as I'll be out of shield in no time at all anyway.

I'd like odds of possibility of being frozen in place fully, or leashed to the door, or having my weapons break for a few seconds. Maybe even a greater drunk like effect, where the enemies blurr more fully on the screen, and you see shimmers of double.

  7. Yes I am hitting an enemy, i've been using it repeatedly for many maps.

Yes I am hurt :), just tried it again. I upgraded to rank 2 to see if there was an actual difference, and nothing still. I am using health % boosting mods though, is that the reason? Does it only work below the default max of your actual warframe's health, not its boosted health?

I use valkyr that's why I had it installed.

It must be bugged in some odd way for me, if there is no, obvious reason for it not working. Have to ask it's confirmed to work on the lecta whip then, and if any mod might interfere with it?

  8. Here are some ideas:

    1, Entrance Exit Animation

2, Extra Animations - Keeping it in the theme, flips, jumps, new kill moves etc.

3, Rent Weapons for testing costs 10 per map.

4 - Definitely need more asthetics customizations of the look of the warframes, armor pieces, strap on gear etc.

New myself, just dropped some money, but luckily I somehow got the rhino blueprint already, so apart from valkyr which i bought, I am not sure what else to spend it on. Most of my weapons are locked out from levels being too low, so its the same at the other end of the spectrum too

New or Old you seem to be locked out of a lot of options to spend money on. I did get a few mod packs and 2 weapons, but other than that, not sure what else I'll get in the future. If we get ships and such that'll be a nice place to decorate or mess with.

Gambler packs usually sell well to a small minority who don't mind gambling for a few pounds/dollars, its limited appeal but usually does well for a company provided there is a decent range and you are not likely to get the same items 2 (or even 10) packs in a row.

  9. Hey I am struggling to either channel melee attacks or get this to fire with the life strike mod installed.

Holding down the left button, pressing E, no health is being gained. I tried swapping the melee channel key to T and holding that down, which was more awkward but still had no luck.

Anything else I might be doing wrong, tried it in multiple missions, multiple times. I am using the lecta whip, does it only work on a specific weapon, or is there something else I am missing, cheers.

    -edit

If any new player spots this in a search its because I didn't have the melee weapon equipped (hold F) I was just using the E key to do quick melee weapon attacks, while I had the rifle equipped in my hands. This wasn't explained very well at all in the tutorials when I first started playing that I found. I've added this note in case you have the same issue.

  10. I've always been about teamwork, in a world where solo play has been pushed to the front, and "stats" are king. BAH.. Every clan I've ever ran has had the focus of teamwork, if people don't get it, they can kick rocks. I like carrying people, and teaching them about the game.. Pretty sure I have more hours in game than anyone, and most of that time has been spent helping/teaching/carrying/fostering teamwork..

I wish more people were into working together.. The game is SO MUCH MORE FUN.

    3074:45:35 w00t, and that's just since June.

That is great to hear i'm going to give it another shot today. A big thing I didn't realise and didn't see explained anywhere is the revives costing :), this is a BIG thing that needs highlighting to new folk in the tutorial, apologies if it was, and I am sure will improve the game a lot at later levels when they run out of them.

  11. As a new player - Tutorial on the foundry and research could be improved, tutorial on the mission select, vote and accept etc could be improved so people are not left waiting wondering what is going on. As for people insulting others above, that isn't helpful, the situation is what it is, easier just to cover your bases and have the option of toggling off tutorials.

The main gripe a lot of people have, myself included and why I don't play much, is the lack of teamwork in a coop game. It may well improve at later levels but there is little incentive not to simply blitz the level as quickly as possible solo, as soon as I realised I too was doing it I quit. Indeed on a few levels i'd log in and the game would nearly be finished by one player, with two other newbies left scratching there heads about what to do.

Compared to payday 2 for instance where if you don't stick together and help each other you're toast, warframe needs a lot of work in that department in the early levels.

I do have an old computer (old CPU not video card), and it runs the game fine, so for me at least that doesn't seem to be an issue, game seems well optimized.
