  1. I do a lot of raids and sometimes try out new weapons on disruptor drones in the simulacrum for more raid ideas. I tried to do such a thing a couple days ago and found I could not spawn them anymore. I checked my codex and it appears they no longer exist there. I couldn't find any other posts on this issue after a short search so hopefully this is not a duplicate.

    I've included a screenshot of my codex sorted by name where it skips straight from "De" to "Dr" with no "Di" between.

    I've also included a screenshot of the codex search for Disruptor.

  2. Let me start by praising one thing I love about the new system: Immersion. I am a huge fan of Ender's Game and the new AW controls is one of the first chances I've had to really shift my perspective in an environment with no defined gravity. Personally I go with Ender's suggestion and make my objective "down" as often as possible. It really does feel like all I have to do is fall to get where I need to be. This awesome feeling brings me to my first suggestion.

    1. Remove the reorientation to the former "up" position. It breaks the immersion and if anyone really needs to know what up is there is always the esc key. Additionally you could add a key to the AW controls to automatically orient "up" for those that feel they need it. That, however, might be a larger change that takes time. At this point just removing the tilting would be fantastic.

    2. Separate the "Afterburner" and "Move Up" key. With the new system, tight turns require both a change in aim and a corresponding strafe key. This works great for "down", "left", and "right", but if I am sprinting, which I am most of the time, a tight turn "up" is not possible.

    3. Move the Archwing to the center just below the reticle. When it's on the left or right it can be awkward to navigate tight tunnels (Mostly corpus missions). Even if not a required change for all players, an option to choose default location would be incredible.

    I hope I've expressed well enough my absolute love of what we have so far. It's enough to work with and to enjoy immensely.

    And in turn will this Decrease my overall XP by 1155 as well, I will keep an eye on this when the update goes live for me.

     

    I did hear of at least 1 person losing a rank due to this drop. It's what caught my attention in the first place.

    Edit: My theory on the missing mastery is that DE used an older version of the map, one with less nodes and therefore a lower mastery total, when calculating the new junction mastery. I believe it was an honest mistake.

    And I'm not fond of idea of having to basically redo stuff I've already done. It took me like a month of dedicated hunting to finally complete codex for all frontier eximus - frontier eximus lancer being worst offender, since at high level it's replaced by elite frontier lancer. I can do without searching for em again. Or doing earth sabotages, I'm fine after last 100 or so attempts with different antitoxins plus all 3 caches, when I was trying to figure out droptable. By the way no, no forma, all caches are rubbish, vermillion and all other antitoxins are useless. 

    Let me skip all this pointless garbage like I skipped vors prize. Which lore aside was in fact pointless garbage for me at the time of release. Except devs recognised that.

    If plans changed, then don't force us to complete junctions to get mastery and progress back. That's what I want for console release. Worst case scenario have all junction requirements already marked as completed if all nodes were completed before update. Solves the issue of scanning new enemies in junctions. 

    I *think* you could skip them if you want. My stats still list maximum mastery for the planets (though I think it might be a lower total than before at 13.6k) And all the rest of the nodes remain unlocked. I am finishing them because I can't just leave them sitting there for no reason (completionist much?) but as far as I can tell, unless you need a reward from them (mars has the only new reward I know of) you can just leave them be.

  5. I agree exactly with your statement. As a map progression feature the junctions make perfect sense. But I also watch every dev stream and Steve *did* say he would make it worth our while to replay them so don't worry about the reset. Outside of Mars Junctions it is most definitely not worth anything to replay them.

  6. This update ruined Lunaro. Waited 10 minutes to get into one of the most one sided games I've ever been in. I didn't mind it so much when it was a quick thing I did whenever, but having to wait so long is not worth my time. I'm sure there are others who feel differently but having experienced both I would rather play a 1v2 immediately than wait and then have the same end result anyway. I could have told you this before the update so whoever thought this was a good idea either has some perspective I'm not considering or didn't think it through.

    Additionally, playing 2v2 with my friends on public we had no one join, now we can't even do that. Please consider the consequences of your restrictions more carefully in the future.

  7. I finally got a chance to play after the most recent patch and I must say it's a HUGE step in the right direction. I enjoyed the gameplay despite any number of other factors that could be better. I quit PvP in any game a long time ago, even before I started playing Warframe, due to it's intensity and seemingly innate toxic environment. After the most recent reduction in check spamming, this mode is relaxing enough that I can play a few games here and there without feeling the anxiety and frustration I usually get from PvP. I still don't exactly understand how the system works(sometimes I get knocked down, sometimes I don't) but I can at least get away from other players between stuns with plenty of time to get back into the game.

    Don't get me wrong this mode could still use loads of improvement if what the devs on the dev stream said about tournament play is actually one of your goals; but the way it plays now finally feels like most of what I play Warframe for: relaxing and fun with a few bugs to work out.

    Until I noticed that at rank 7 it was the same as a rank 5 normal... no other primed mod had decreased returns. Why no love for the melee? Ya dont need to balance it by making it 25% less strong. Should be the full 220%...

    Dont get me wrong, I'm still glad its here, and 45% is better than nothing i guess. It just feels like a classic DE move to give me what I want at the same time as disappointing me with it. *sighs and walks off with my new shiny mod uncertain how I feel about it*

     

    PS: Better not think of taking it away though :/

    Actually one of the pistol mods is not the same as the base mod. There may be others but I know this is not the first time a primed mod has been tuned down from the original.

  9. Despite the constant barrage of "designed to focus on teamwork" phrases coming from DE and Teshin, nothing actually gets done unless I immediately throw the ball down the field or at the goal. I haven't played a single game where either my team or the other team actually had an effective method of passing to increase scoring. The cause has been stated numerous times throughout this thread and I am only reiterating because there have been patches and it still hasn't been fixed: melee spamming. The stun mechanic is by far the most frustrating mechanic in the game, and now it's been given to every player with no limits. It's like playing tag with 2 people...not exactly riveting. There are other issues I have with the game and many of them have been stated already, but I feel with the others I can at least improve and learn the game mechanics of.

    TL;DR Stun locking/instant ball stealing is not fun/removes teamwork.

    If I don't know about it, I don't miss it. My builds are already OP, being more OP would be cool, but I'd rather watch the relays burn. Not really sure what DE thinks we have to lose by losing the relays. DE needs them more than we do. :D

  11. Hurray! Now my laptop, which is one of the best hosts among the people I play with, will get host migrated off of whether we like it or not. Gotta love DE logic.

     

    PCs are better than Laptops, unless of course, your Laptop happens to be better than most PCs.

  12. If you're talking about alarms, WHY IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO SHUT THEM OFF!

    There should be a Tenno alarm. After all, their ships and operations are being shut down all over the place by Tenno. When the Tenno alarm goes off, everyone stays alert, no matter what, including when the alarm suddenly goes silent again. On top of that, how in the world does rotating a few hexagons qualify as hacking...?

    I think alarms are a great mechanic in the game; but the realism of them shouldn't be analysed in any serious way, shape, or form.

  13. This is still in progress but I feel it is far enough along to proudly show it off. I love to be creative and when I thought of this I was super excited to build it because I'd never seen anything like it in another dojo.
