DE: Yes, yes we understand your issue.  But hey, next prime: Valkyr!!!!  Yay, everyone yay.  And a new prime weapon:  Soma Prime!  Yay!

You:  But..I just want to play the game.  I dont want U14 to be the bane of my existence and crash every 30 minutes.

DE:  Yes yes, but youre getting the primes!  And...Sound effects 2.0!  We are remaking the sound effects in the game!  Yay!

**All of this is hypothetical...don't get antsy about a soma prime or anything**

UI 2.0, Melee 2.0, Damage 2.0...all good updates for a game thats considered "beta".  Adding in a  new prime frame every few months and a new prime weapon every few months, and a myriad of other weapons every few weeks...tells me youre not squashing the bugs and network issues you should be doing for a game in "beta"...pumping out these bits of "content" is more indicative of an officially launched game.

Alright for starters they are doing the best they can to remedy the bugs as they appear but as new content is added more is going to show up this is also true. What I wonder though is...why knock new content? Out of many online games such as this how many really respond as quickly as the dev-team at DE? How many game developers see something break and rather then fix it and go oh well, compensate the players based on what the issue is? I don't know many, Particular for games that are basically Free to play and only have a market system that sells stuff you could otherwise earn throughout the game.

I am not saying you have no right to say this as it is understandable based on what we see however what would anyone here do if all they did was focus on trying to stomp out all these nitpicky little bug but released nothing to keep players interested? I can assume not many would continue playing very much after they got to the end game stuff and we all hit this point where we just sorta go: "Now what?" I mean they even develop special events we can enjoy in connection with their new content. As for being in Beta and no information on a full release? Pff so? things like that can at times make it easier to add additional content. In fact it means more can be released and tested to the public rather then having something like a small team to test each bit of content individually hoping that somehow when you throw...(11,712 players into a game based on what steam says right now but we know its more then that.) that everything will run smoothly. Thats way to wishful thinking in my opinion however im just one person. As are they on the dev team.

After all this my point comes down to this....im going to be that guy who just says, yeah stuff broke....Just relax they got this covered and will ensure everything will be alright. We put our faith in them so far haven't we?

Well frankly, if you knew the servers were getting attacked, you should've practiced a bit of restraint and wariness. Server attacks = all sorts of things can happen, and one of the biggest things is loss of data during the attack.

It's why I just asked a person that PMed me about a trade to do it tomorrow. See? Just a little bit of forethought could've saved your whole day.

Another valid point too. The forums are here to keep us informed. Its really noones fault that data was lost let alone any real shock because this just is what comes with stuff like that.
