  1. Thanks for your feedback Super_Dan, and yes a diablo-esque ressource system would be just great.

    I'm thinking of a quick exemple : Ash, make 1 (shurikens) free to cast, the rest of the kit cost a ressource that is gathered when enemies are suffering from slash effect? So many possibilities.

    I'm a MR 25 Dark sectors veteran so please take me seriously ! (or don't)

    As the title says I'd like to share my point of view regarding weapons and energy.

     

    Weapons

    3 problems I see :

    At this point it feels like optimizing any non primed primary/secondary weapon often require up to 6 to 7 formas, which in my opinion is really discouraging due to how long and obnoxious it is to get formas (24h build delay) and to repeatly relevel the same weapon. I understand you have to grind and put effort to finally get the reward, I also understand the platinum sink concept, fact is forma packs are one of the rare thing I do buy with plats. But like I said, it's really discouraging and doesn't really endorse weapons diversity. This was made even worse with the apparition of primed mods and rivens. This problem isn't that noticeable with melee weapons due to their increased capacity thanks to stance mods.

    A few possible solutions in my opinion :

    - getting "aura/Stance" mods for primary/secondary weapons. What kind of mods that would be a good question, I guess imagination is your limit.

    - Making forma more accessible (why 24 hours delay?) / Formaing something no longer cause it to drop back to level 1.

     

    Second problem : modding diversity. Too many mods became mandatory and that pretty much kills the diversity when you have 0 room left after the generic meta build. (Serration+split chamber+Heavy Caliber+at least 2 elemental mods, and if you have a crit based weapon you know how to fill the rest) this is even worse with melee weapons as imo there are so many cool mods to use.

    I believe this was previously addressed by the devs as they had planned to boost base damage of every weapon and remove serration/hornet strike etc.. but I guess that idea was scraped? I assume it has something to do with the primed version for shotguns and melee; what would happen to them?

    Solutions :

    - Well, get back to that idea where base damage are boosted so we can remove serration etc.., that's at least one room freed up.

    - Combined with the idea above, regarding aura/stance mods for weapons, we could have aura which turns/adds innate elemental damage to weapon, thus making base elemental mods less mandatory.

     

    Third problem : Base weapon/primed/prisma/Wraith/Umbra?/Have I missed anything? (that also applies to frames)

    Simply the fact that base weapon/frames are plain useless since their primed/prisma/... counterparts are plain upgrade. This makes base weapons/frames nothing but mastery points tools and also makes you reluctant to optimizing them (forma/potato).

    - Solutions : Base weapons/Armors are now needed in the crafting component for their upgraded variants. And also, the potato/formas used now move on to the new weapon/armor. Sounds easy enough? (fact: when I finished optimizing mirage they released mirage prime the following week)

     

    Energy

    Energy economy/sustainability is pretty much everything or nothing. You either have a trinity on your team/have Zenurik's dash to self sustain yourself or you don't. You can spam mindlessly or you don't. That's simple.

    This makes Zenurik focus once again mandatory albeit the focus rework.

    Solutions :

    - Innate energy regen. That's it. 0.5 to 1 / second similar to energy siphon. Fair enough to put you out of a tight spot when no energy is available without allowing you to spam everything non stop.

    Also some may call me crazy but I always thought that abilities should be cooldown based. As soon as you have a heavy CC frame on your team you can just go afk as the game becomes trivial. But hey that's a whole another topic.

    So yeah I'm in the process of rebuilding my dojo and it implies destroying everything first...

    One big question arises, will it reset the progres on the Hema if I delete the lab? In my mind I'd like to think no, but you never know. Anybody really knows the answer? Thanks.

  4. I gave it a shot on Pluto's interception, after getting ingame I remember this is where my FPS drop is the most noticeable.

     

    Well it didn't appear to change much, topping at 40 and often staying around 30, I even tuned pretty much every GFX option down and my FPS never rised. The game now looks like dog poo and my FPS is still S#&$. I'm tempted to say the problem doesn't come from me as I play many other games in highest settings.

    And like said above 2g of RAM.

     

    On XP I had no FPS issues at all, but that was 2-3 months ago during which I haven't played warframe, so a combination of windows 8 + losing ram and tons of  Warframe updates probably justify the large loss, I'm going to try with those options turned off.

    Until very recently, I used to play on windows XP where I didn't have any FPS issues.

     

    I decided to upgrade to Windows 8, but I somehow managed to lose some RAM in the process (I only have 2G now),

    in crowded area (mostly Towers actually) I suffer large FPS loss, going from 60+ to 30 and even 25. It truely affect my latron's fire rate as said on the wikia, I thought it was a myth, haha.

     

    Well, I'd like to hear some suggestions about which GFX options I should turn down to greatly increase my FPS while keeping the game sexy as a pair of $*; here is my actual config:

  7. Well, I unsuccessfully tried to ask ingame so here I am,

     

    I haven't played in 2 months, maybe more, I'm getting used to the changes, I noticed that defence and interception shows all rewards even in the post game "debriefing" so here is my question;

     

    Do we indeed get all rewards, and not just the one we're extracting at (like previously) ?

     

    And if we do get all rewards, does it work in Tower D/INT too?

  8. Can somebody tell me if this fixes the crash occuring in the Operation Gate Crash misssion ? (When reaching the sister bosses area)

     

    Some people have not been able to complete or enjoy this event at all (I still haven't finished a single mission completely) and I wouldn't want it to go unseen because of the prime access... Thanks for reading.

  9. I'm just here to say that I also do crash when the "mini bosses" appear shortly after finding the first "laser" that requires a key.

     

    Funny part, I tried to report the crash with the error handler; error handler couldn't connect and thus no information was sent. Wish I could help more.

     

    (Tried the missions twice, crashed twice at the same point)

  10. Hello,

     

    If you have no melee and no secondary weapon equipped (for the sake of EXPing), and switch to codex scanner, pressing the F button wont switch back to your primary weapon.

     

    First time it happened I thought I dun goofed so I just finished the mission running around, the second time it happened I realize I could switch back by reopening inventory and reusing the codex.

    As for Energy drain, I realized that energy draining effect could get you below 0 energy. It doesn't show on the HUD but you can notice your effective energy is well below 0 if anybody on the team has energy syphon, it'll take a variant amount of time before actually regaining energy. You'll also notice weird results when picking up energy orbs.

  11. No doubt some of them have been reported already but here you go;

     

     

    - I have big freeze whenever something ranks up, both ingame and post game when I get the bonus exp.

     

     

    - Not really a bug or such, but we can no longer upgrade mod directly from the arsenal UI, no doubt many people will agree that it is now a pain to upgrade mods.

     

     

    - Alert rewards shows in the end game reward screen,  but not in the "post-game" reward screen  (I hope you get what I mean...)

     

     

    - I've been in survival missions where the timer frozed and thus mission became bugged, more than once

     

     

    - BIG BIG problem when attempting to join public games, most of the time I get session unavailable, I've also been stuck in the loading screen (funny thing is that I could shoot when clicking)

    Also, for some reason the loading takes much longer than before

     

     

    - I'm unable to sell a weapon, it's a melee weapon (a pair of fists, I'll get the name if it matters) and when I try to sell it it tells me "you can't sell weapons right now, please try again later" been like that for 3 days now, and YES I have another melee weapon (I know you need one of each)

     

     

    - In my profile, I have unlocked all Solar Map Exp but my solar map progress says I unlocked 239/258, I checked every planet and all nodes seems to be unlocked

    (Also, when checking your profile, the Exit button in the bottom right corner doesn't seem to work)

     

     

    - When collecting ressources from an extractor, it also retrieves the extractor, forcing you to redeploy one? Wasn't like that before, not sure if intended

     

     

     

    Well eh, that's all I found so far, to be honest I didn't play much since U14 mainly due to the game being unplayable so I hope that reporting issues will get us closer to a stable version. Thanks for your attention.
