  1. Was opening a riven earlier today and came across some Dargyn on the ground so I killed them with the Ballistica Prime full charged shot, which spawned the spectre of it. Upon entering the spectre it piloted like normal until the Dargyn spectre disappeared, leaving me stuck in the air. After screwing around for a bit I decided to leave not thinking to record it. Later coming back I recorded this video:

This showcases most of what I have discovered from this glitch using the kit I had on hand. A short list of the things I wanted to highlight follows:

    • I stayed invisible even after my cloak ran out with Loki.
    • After jumping, I got stuck in a falling animation. When using the melee air attack it dashes you forward in the direction you are looking which allowed me to gain altitude rapidly.
    • Using my quick slam for melee locks me into the falling animation and only entering the Esc. menu frees you from the lock out.
    • Upon using Operator to attempt to get back onto the ground you take fall damage, and after returning to your frame you fall through the world.
    • [Not in Video] You can use the Operator to run around normally and return to Cetus, and Void mode with negate the fall damage.
    • Jumping to attempt to stop yourself from falling will instead make you float up through the world again, and continue to float further up indefinitely.
    • [Not in Video] Once you reach a certain height, you cannot use abilities or swap weapons. This may be due to my floating underneath and up in to Cetus from the Plains tileset when I was screwing around.

This doesn't seem to really affect the game to any major extent, aside from making you in essence forever invisible, but it does make it nearly impossible to finish the mission in a normal matter once it happens.

  2. Do you want modern weapons? go play COD clone number 234566, leave my futuristic weapons alone, thank you very much.

P:S: i will love to see a GRINEER version of the gatling gun, with his corresponding heavy unit using it.

The Gorgon is the gatling gun of the Grineer side, and the Heavy Gunner its wielder. It may not have the design of a gatling gun, but the firing mechanics are similar. As for your comment on COD, that's not exactly what I believe he wants. I believe that he wanted to see the game add in more weapons that have similar designs to weapons from our era, even if they are outdated.

We wouldn't even have to use the weapons per say, they could just become components for other weapons that are from the game's current era. They could even just add in attachments or features to the weapons you currently own or could be dismantled down to swap out a stock that reduces recoil or something like that.

  3. I enjoy warframe for its unique and odd weaponry. The Phage, flux, amprex stug. Just to name a few. personally adding in 20/21 century weaponry would be a real let down

So simply because the weapon would be from the 20/21st Century it's automatically non-unique and not odd? There are tons of weird and unconventional weapons that humanity has created which could very well be a semi-futuristic weapon that would fit into the role of a Tenno weapon. Weapons such as a Pepperbox gun with brass knuckles that functions similarly to the Redeemer in game as a melee, a Harmonica gun that could have a unique design that would allow for the fresh clip to be shoved in easily once the last bullet was fired from the previous clip, or a weapon like the Duck's Foot Pistol that is a hand-cannon similarly to the Pyrana, Brakk, and Detron, but fires in a horizontal or vertical fashion instead of everywhere.

There are tons of really bizarre weapons that man has created that would be a cool concept for this game, especially with the ancient races being present. Also think of it this way, if you were to awaken from cryosleep, would you rather have a weapon you feel comfortable with and understand how to use from your era of life or a super futuristic weapon from the current era that you have absolutely no clue how to use?

  4. The idea of having weapons we use today as antiques would be an interesting option for this game to take. Personally, if they're going to be classified as antique weapons they would have to be discovered somehow, be it through adventuring around the Earth tile sets and finding remnant parts and making a quest line out of it, or from being discovered during excavations on the Earth tilesets. Now although we know that this game is a futuristic game with no major relations to our world aside from the solar map having names which are found in our solar system, the idea of weapons we have created might be a slight bit far fetched. It might be easier to see this being done as a mixture of weapons from our current era, and having them be defined as ancient Tenno weaponry. There is plenty more I believe that could be said about this, and I would be interested to see DE take an interest in a topic of weaponry which is earned other than farming it from alerts, the void, or from the Sorties.

  5. Right....but this isn't a problem with Baro Ki'Teer. It's a problem with your emotional response to Baro Ki'Teer. No-one, either at DE or among the rest of the playerbase, did anything to force you to get overly excited about the Void Trader, and then wildly disappointed when his wares didn't meet your expectations.

All you ever had to do was spend a minute ever two weeks to check in and see if what he had was something which you were interested in. He brought really cool stuff every couple of months, and in between those occasions, he brought quirky stuff which not everybody wanted.

I say again: if a faction of players are absolutely seething over the fact that an optional trader bringing optional items doesn't have the really top tier amazing stuff every time he comes, the problem is with the players, not with the trader. Have some patience, and go play some games.

Thank god someone understands this, the hype train is a player driven engine afterall. DE does nothing but tell us when Baro is coming and attempt to bring new items into the game. Also, a rather basic concept anyone who plays adventure games should understand is the fact that traders don't always have good items. It's just a part of the game, traders aren't warriors who can fight to get the absolute best of everything all the time. Besides, if you don't want the item don't buy it, plain and simple.

  6. The revamp of the daily reward CANNOT come soon enough!

I have over 2700 hrs put into this game, have never gotten a 75% off and never heard of anyone of my friends getting it either.

It is a total joke when I (MR16) login and day after day I get 10k credits or sentinel experience. I just feels wrong and is just a nuisance box to close.

Sometimes I feel like the higher I get as an MR the worse RNG gets for me. It's probably just a feeling, but if it feels wrong then it probably is.
