But nowadays it seems literally everyone just uses Valkyr so no need for shields at all whatsoever. Pathetic, boring, easy mode.

You were probably going to say: Rhino Prime with Boltor Prime and Orthos Prime (so much swag in this combo)

I for one tend to only play with my warcry build anyway :p

Well, maybe you can connect the kick feature with certain requirements :0
For example: Player that is to be kicked has to be inactive for 3 minutes (random number is random)

It's not.
However, Mirage is the former, not the latter. None of her abilities compensate for poor health/shields armor. Trinity and Link? Excellent survivability. Rhino and Iron Skin? Excellent survivability. Mirage and Hall of Mirrors? Not so much.While Hall of Mirrors is quite nice to mitigate single target damage and prism delivers some good cc, I was actually referring to the theoretical 95% dmg reduction from eclipse. But as stated above, it's not that reliable. I don't play her that much either so I can't really tell to what extend it's controllable. "excellent" might have been a poor choice of words in this matter .....
Still, it feels like her kit is somewhat better than that of other frame who were once considered damage dealers, like ember, who had her damage reducing skill taken from her.
Regarding her base stats: they are pretty much in line with those of other frames, you gotta cut loose something somewhere in order to justify all of this :I
But it in the end, all my disapproval of this frame comes down to her being downright annoying. I have a fairly good rig, but even I do experience some framerate drops when a gazillion projectiles fly all over the place.

Eclipse does give some pretty good DR, but it's not reliable since you need to find a dark spot, and the game is quite obtuse on what 'dark' and 'light' is.

Edit: If people could just stop using the miter on her, that would make me very grateful :p

Can someone please remind me how a warframe with ridiculous damage output while having excellent survivability is well balanced ? :/

Since the only (somehow working as intended) bug RexSol abused was Volt's shield..... it's kinda the same thing as you did, only a teeeeeny tiny bit more effective.
I don't know how and I don't really care either ^^
But some things should probably be better left untold. I can already feel an increase in Volt players right now :D

The best warframe is the warframe that you have the most fun with.
Amen to that ^^
My favorite frame is Valkyr, I love my kitten :3
I also enjoy playing with Ember, since she was the first frame I build and I got attached to her.
And I recently started playing with Mag Prime and it's just fun to ragdoll enemies all over the place :D
Other than those, I just choose whatever I feel like playing ( and sometimes taking on the supportive role: as in Nekros etc)

From what I've seen myself and from various threads around it does make no difference regarding the base damage. Wether it be elemental or physical v_v

Besides, I often wondered why the stalker even bothers to hunt me down for killing Phorid and Lephantis. I mean come on.... why the hell does he care about these ugly creatures ? :D

Check the critical box to see the real dps for Dual Ichor.
Also, ichors have elemental base damage, making it possible to make all its damage get +75% bonus against a target you're modding for. See the "details" page in warframe builder to compare the actual dps.
EDIT: Also, channeling builds suck because channeling multiplier doesn't affect combo counter multiplier, they stack additively. This makes normal build better than channeling build at 2x combo bonus IIRC. And that's without using energy.
1. Well, I suck at math, therefore I kinda have to rely on the numbers given here.
BUT! with 40% crit, it's only 4 out of 10 hits that will crit (statistically), so you can't simply take all the crits into the equation.
(though I gotta admit I'm not quite sure wether the checkbox simply takes the 40% crit into account or assumes that every hit is a crit :/ )
2. The Dakra Prime with my build got a higher elemental damage than the Dual Ichors, soooo yeah :p .....
In theory it should be better!
3. Didn't know that part about the combo multiplier :0
Can anyone confirm that ? I mean, its kinda impossible to get high multipliers anyway, since the timer will run out fast and there are not always enemies nearby to refresh it.

Your theoretical dps with max stacks would certainly be higher, but you might still be better served using an element for practical dps. If you can sustain warcry infinitely, it could work though.

Try exchanging berserker for one element of your choice.
Lets assume that the enemy is of some kind that takes equal damage from all element sources: Only 1 Bersi stack will top the damage (dps wise) you get from additional element mod. And don't forget that more attackspeed = more crits = even more damage (though the focus clearly lies on non-crit dmg, since 1,5 multiplier is meh....)

Berserker isn't too great on the Dakra, but I guess it's fine if it works for you. I would prefer another element though.
Once again: I'm looking for max dps and with (and even without :p) Valkyrs Warcry, you got those stack in no time!
Attackspeed is effectively crit chance for this weapon, so no problem here ^^
Putting in another element would certainly increase damage per hit, but it will lower dps.

I'm currently trying to find a good Life Strike build for either the Dakra Prime or the Dual Ichor with maximized dps.
The warframe I intend to use this weapon on is the Valkyr.
These are the two builds I'm currently thinking about(don't mind the elements, they are of course to be changed according to the opposing faction; these are currently for void, hence the extra cold damage on Dakra):
This gives me a total DPS 2122.52 while channeling and with 3 Berserker stacks (which are honestly not hard to obtain, given the insane attack speed)
Dual Ichor:
Total dps: 844.88 (also 3 stacks from Berserker)
Now I've heard people saying that Dual Ichor offer the best dps ingame, and while constantly critting, that may be true, but otherwise I fail to see it. D:
Especially with Crimson Dervish, it seems that it outshines the DI by far.
The only downside would be the large percentage of slash damage, which can only shine against infested and in all honesty, even a sharp pencil would be enough for those guys. :D
Any suggestions as what to change ?
Keep in mind that I whish to use this purely as a melee build, hence the focus on channeling (I don't do no quick melee half-assed attacks !)
For Valkyr (though it is not of much concern, highly based of preference) I currently us a balanced build between power strength and duration as to maximaze the efficiency of warcry.
Oh and by the way: I searched all over for a possible cap on attack speed: is there something like that ? Given that I use Valkyrs Warcry, it might influence the mod choice, since it might be a little overkill in case.

Now that's curious :/
When I change my appearance, it stops with those jittery movements.
After doing a quick mission, its back to the way it was before, hence only a temporary solution.

Just try standing still in place and you'll see what I mean. Those movements the wires do definitely don't seem to be normal at all.
