@SeriousSkipper  if you don't see the problem with a limited number of players having access to an item they can buy for credits and sell for platinum, an item many players do not otherwise have access to, I cannot help you.

I would see the problem if platinum was still something you could exclusively get with real money and you couldn't earn some by selling a plethora of items that you can quite easily obtain playing solo, like prime parts or syndicate mods and weapons.

Of course you can't help me understand it, if you don't have any arguments to show.

I guess he's saying that forcing people to spend platinum on something is bad? But then does he think DE should stop selling plat-only skins and inventory slots in the store and make Catalysts and reactors a hundred times more common or something?

Hi people, I apologize for the longer post but I think this could help more people than just me. I am currently at mastery rank 9, and im kind of struggling with the transition from 'mid-game' to 'end-game'. I have done some reasearch and for example, someone said that Scindo Prime is a good end game weapon. So i went ahead and got Scindo Prime (got blood rush, body count, pressure point, 2 elements, berserker, buzz kill) and yet i still dont do much damage to the 70-80 level units. Also, I got a Tigris, 'forma' it 2 times, got a bunch of slash damage and still its a pain to kill 90-100 levels. My Soma does barely any damage and its not like I didnt put mods on it. Vectis is kind of okay to be honest. I see others kill 100+ lvls on a whim. I also saw that someone said that Nikana Prime is a fair end game weapon, and there it is building right now, and what am I supposed to put on it and be sure that I'm not gonna be useless next time I go to do a sortie?

Another thing is that, some people say that grineer are weak to radiation damage, and from the damage 2.0 cheat sheet I saw that they are in fact weak to corrosive damage, just like corpus are weak to magnetic, and infected to gas. Is that correct?

I apologize one more time for a maybe over subjective post, but I really need help with this.

    Thank you, Tenno.

I'll share my loadout with you:

Primary: Tigris prime with this build

100% status + Rad/viral and high slash means it'll work against just about any enemy of any faction besides maybe Sentients and Shadow Stalker: Slash proc damage ignores shields and armor while viral halves their HP directly for a few second, you can definitely guess what happens when you put a weapon with abysmal base damage, a status effect that deals a % of base damage directly to health ignoring armor and shields, and an HP reduction of 50% together. I never change elements on this one and I can still one/two shot (if we consider both shells one shot) basically everything: If they don't die from the shot's damage, they will either bleed to death or be CC'd and debuffed long enough for me to follow up with another volley that will most likely kill them. The only con about this weapon is its tiny magazine and relatively large reload time even with seeking fury. You can replace P. Point blank with regular point blank and Sweeping Serration with... I dunno, either Blaze or a 90% elemental I suppose.

Secondary: Akstiletto Prime with this build for corpus and this one for everyone else.

For when you can't get in range to Tigris them in the face. I only use heat because I have P. Heated charge, but you can do Corrosive Cold if you wish. This is the weapon I use to strip enemies of their armor or halve their shields. So far the only times it hasn't worked for me is when I forgot to switch builds and proceeded to deal magnetic damage to grineers. It'll take a bit longer to kill heavies than the Tigris, but it'll be your only choice at mid and long range.

    Melee

Put that thing away and shoot people in the face instead. Get this thing and build it like this, then channel and shoot someone in the face when you're low on health.

If you want to kill people with melee, however, I suppose a Galatine Prime or War with Body Count, Blood Rush and Berserker will do fine. If you have Maiming Strike, Use an Atterax or Secura Lecta for a metric ton of damage and range on slide attacks. Haven't tried the Telos Boltace, but I hear that's good with Maiming Strike as well.

This is what I personally use, you might want to switch the element to radiation or magnetic depending on what you're going against, however the only times I use melee consistently is when I'm fighting low-mid level enemies that are going to die in one spin attack once the combo starts to rise and the red crits start raining.

Or you can take a Banshee built for Sonar and one-shot everything with an unmodded MK1-Kunai.

I don't recall all the details, but I found the MR19 test didn't present any exceptionally difficult challenges.

I used the Glaive Prime modded for zero bounce and detonation on impact. I don't recall the warframe I used, but that doesn't matter (I think it was Valky).

Basically, sneak around from cover to cover and nail stuff at a distance with the glaive. I took my time and had no real issues. The glaive's range can be considerable and is certainly outside the detection range of the enemies.

Same, except I used the Redeemer and Loki.

Don't try to sneak past them, just kill them with with a throwing weapon or a gunblade

  4. Honestly, I believe Ember is not really good as a CC frame. I think she's far inferior to, say, a Loki with Irradiating Disarm built for range and maybe efficiency.

Ember is definitely the best frame there is to kill low to mid level enemies which is why I think she does not need adjusting, but if you need CC or damage to kill level 100+ enemies, you're better off with other frames. This is the way it should be, different frames for different jobs.

Was going to come back and do some missions to try and get the new gear.

Checked drops. Realized all of it requires Defense missions, and a lot of it requires the jank that is bullet sponged, one shot death machines of T4.

No thanks. I have good games to play. And no, I won't buy this pack instead, either.

Get a frost and a mesa, do 20 waves with said mesa wiping the floor with literally every single enemy, while frost keeps the pod and the team safe and pops nullifier bubbles with the other 2 randoms. EV trin recommended, not required.

T4 is most definitely not even close to being hard unless you stay in the mission for quite a long time (40 waves, 40 minutes etc.)

Ok with excalibur your point, completly forgot that dumb change but for valkyr, valkyr before was simply cheese and more or less still is. I with max eff and the base energypool of 150 you can still keep it up for close to 3 min and the self dmg seems to doesnt apply if the enemy dont have line of sight.

Not to mention that Warcry builds remained untouched, andyou can still hysteria+revive downed player(s)+run away+de-hysteria, which are pretty much the only things I saw people use Valk for.

From wha I've read here it seems most people are simply salty that they removed cheesing/Press button to win. I defintly agree that there is need in tweak of the numbers of the game (supposed to come U19?)

That's the case, along with walls of text filled to the brim with terms like "healthy design" or "player experience" to hide the fact that the basic concept of the post is "DE Y U NURF MY PRESS 4 TO WIN I UNINSTALL NOW".

I'm one of those who uses only the most "meta" frames and weapons, however I don't care if said weapon/frame requires me to have skill or just mash 4/M1, I like to do things efficiently, and I'm more than OK with that requiring more than "AFK by the pod with Frost and mash 3 whenever you have energy in your pool" or "Double tap 4 from time to time to blind everyone".

Some things in this game are just busted, and they deserve a nerf. As a long time Tonkor user, I'm the first one to say that the thing needs a nerf, and a big one.

  8. Hey DE, FIX *Irrelevant bug* AND CHANGE *something that doesn't need to be changed*. Also, WHERE IS *something unneeded, like a skin*?

Instead of adding awesome content and fixing the bugs you think need fixing, you should let ME tell you what to do! Do it or I will stop playing for 2 WHOLE hours and spend only HALF of my allowance on platinum. GRR!

    Sarcasm aside, Thank you DE.

  9. 1. Nova

Crowd control useful in all situations (slow enemies in high level missions, speed them up in low level ones. In both situations, enemies take double damage), rather tanky if used with primed flow + quick thinking, Able to one-shot pretty much everything with MP + a fully charged Antimatter drop.

There isn't one mission where a Nova isn't useful.

    2. Trinity

Can fill up your energy bar within seconds, can instantly heal you and your sentinel from across the map and, with the EV augment, can give you tons of overshields. What else do you need?

    3. Frost

If you need to defend anything, you WILL need a frost, no matter what.

    4. Nyx

CC for days. If you don't care about killing enemies, Nyx will keep them off your cell.

    4.5 Mirage

Same thing as Nyx, assuming you build her for range and duration for the Prism blind.

    5. Nekros

Makes survival missions trivial because of the potentially doubled air support modules drop, covers the map in health orbs and can summon shadows to take aggro off the cell. Also has a panic button (Terrify) to get out of sticky situations

    Honorable mentions:

Vauban for his vortex and bastille augment, Equinox for his power strenght buff, healing and scaling AoE, Mag for her shield polarize able to deal tons of damageon high level corpus missions and immediatly restore shields, Rhino for his damage buff and hard CC, Valkyr for her invulnerability, Excal and Ivara for their tons of damage with their blade and bow, Chroma for his tankiness and huge self-buff with Vex Armor, Ash for his finisher damage on Bladestorm

Loki is very overrated imo. He's the god of solo missions, but there's better frames for teamwork.

  10. zadam odszkodowania

za kazda minute grania bez kluczy 10000 platyny

No, you can't buy vodka with platinum. You need real life currency and a liquor store.

Also phew, I thought they removed Hek for a second. I still had to get my Hydroid

  11. Someone once sent me a song called "The Device Has Been Modified", and I liked it to the point to temporarily set my name to The Modified Device

Then shortened to TMDevice and then re-capitalized as TmDevice

It's short, unique, simple and doesn't have numbers, so I started using it on pretty much any site/game that requires an unique display name.

Besides, people call me Dev IRL too now thanks to that nickname :V
