  1. Well, I don't think that there is anything more I can add that everyone else has... but hey, might as well get it out.

While looking at her stats when I first got her, her stats were pretty.... rounded? average shields, average health, average energy, and average-ish armor. I thought that she probably will do fine defensively in a way. Sadly, with her skill set as it currently is, in addition to her stats, she struggles with mid to high tier missions. With the ability to heal via Venari and her having the Vazarin polarity for her aura, I thought it would be best to capitalize on health a bit more. However, her abilities suffering in the way that is has, made her ability to survive lower than it should be.

    1. WhipClaw - a very satisfying ability to use. The hitbox that is on it, is not ideal. If the enemy is too close to you, you end up missing despite being in the path of which you targeted. I don't want to back up just so I can hit something in front of me.

    2. Ensnare-  on paper, it's a good CC ability. But as many has already put out there, it's a slow ability and enemies exit out of the ensnare state too quickly. I found hardly any use for this ability because of what it is lacking. Nidus' Larva is faster and more effective, it doesn't have the ability to latch on to newer enemies that may pass by like Ensnare, but it is helpful to use. Ensnare almost seems like a waste of energy to use.

    3. Venari- first off, this is the first frame to "actually" summon something that "actually" goes around and does stuff. (Atlas' Rumblers don't count... they do only one thing, attack. But if you want to count it, then whatever.) Sadly, that summon does stuff poorly. I'm going to skip over attack mode and head to protect and heal mode. Protect - "altering her special attack into a tail-whip against a single enemy. Tail-whip inflicts damage and Knockdown, as well as permanently Disarms the target to use melee weapons only." now here's the problem with all of that... "single enemy" .... when you need to "protect" yourself and your allies from all these attacks that are more than likely from multiple enemies from different directions, what ability comes to mind to rely on "protection?" Answer: Frost's Snow Globe. Protect is a very misleading word for the mode considering that there is no protection given when it does knockdown and disarm. The mode should be called something like "Tackle" or simply "Disarm." The mode only hinders one enemy at a time and does nothing in way of "protection." And hindering isn't protection. You want the cat to protect something? then make it jump in front of bullets and reduce damage taken on frames to like 75% or whatever. Heal - pretty much a heal bot that goes and heals the person with the (I presume) lowest % health and no mods will change any of the stats. In this mode, anyone within range of the cat's healing aura is healed by small amounts. The range of that Aura is still unknown at this time, but we can safely say that it's pretty small range. Problem I'm seeing with that is when I'm with an Inaros and I'm the one that needs the more immediate healing. Another problem I see is that fact that you have to be within the aura to heal... so you can't be moving around and trying to evade attacks that are coming your way and so on and so forth. Honestly, Rejuvenation is a better option than this... even if it heals at a lower rate. Even if you expand the range of the heal aura, it would more than likely not change a dang thing. I probably would change it into a burst heal of 250 base and is effected by mods, where every time Venari gets in range, you are healed by that amount. Which may make it into a faster and slightly better heal bot while it is running around from player to player.

    4. Strangledome- hehe, this one is a bit of a fun treat. This ability's range is not the most favorable especially when the dome can be blocked off by objects in it's path. It's Duration and Strength is a bit on the low scale, but if the range was increased, I may be able to accept it more. Other than that, I find it fun to have enemies being strangled in the dome. Even the enemies swinging around in circles has it's perks.

I don't know if it's been said yet but..

It's been said, several times in previous comments and some of those comments even mention games before WiiU having M games.

    No way.

    1. Nintendo's online service can barely handle its own games.

    2. DE...while successful is too small a Developer.

The entire game would suffer as they now would need to focus on Switch development, rebuilding the architecture for the Switch Port, then come patch time they'd have to develop a PC patch, Xbox One & PS4 patch, & then a Switch Patch.

Look up the game: Mighty #9

That is what happens when a small Developer bites off more than it xould chew/has too much on its plate.

Hell, DE had to cancel games (Amazing Eternals) & refocus/structure in order to bolster Warframe development due to it's booming success.

Switch version would sadly pull too much away.

    1. It was already establish that the Nintendo online service would do fine... in fact, there are several mentioned online games that are having little to no problems being played online.

    2. while this may be a point (not the "rebuilding the architecture" part, since that's an exaggerated scale), the DE have actually said themselves that they like the idea of having a switch port, but they won't be doing the port due to the fact that they do not have anyone specialized in Nintendo software and there's the included fact of what items they have in their lineup for oncoming updates. In other words, they are not too worried about marketing their game on the switch, they just have their focus on like the Plains of Eidolon+.

IAlso for those who say that Nintendo won't allow more mature games on the system, did you know that it has Doom 2016 and Skyrim?

There's even games before the WiiU that were rated M. People are just prejudice, it's a natural thing.

your forgetting one thing "Longevity of Storage" Yes Flash Storage these days are getting to the point it can withstand more and more Write and erase cycles ... blah blah blah blah....The Closest to Warframe on the go is going to be that GPD Win2 when it's out. but Deffo not the Switch you'd sooner see Sony partner up with Nintendo again before it comes to the switch (to put it bluntly how far off it has a chance of happening.)

I'm going to put this simple. SYSTEM REQUIREMENT    Beautiful wording. System requirement is there to indicate what your computer at least needs to have in order to play a game on your PC. Of course, when it comes to console, there is no requirement since consoles are built the same. However, the system requirement gives us an idea of what is needed for us to be able to play on a console since it does not vary all that different from the PC. The switch surpasses the requirements. And while you have mentioned the SD card... well, there's the drive that the switch already has and I can have the warframe on the drive while having my other games on the SD. And there are Maximum Requirements, which is needed for playing the game with Max settings. We all know that the switch will not be able to do Max. So, yeah, it's not going to look as great as it would on PS4, but that doesn't matter for a lot of people compared to playing on the go. And While you mention "DE wouldn't Support Tabletop/Portable Mode." they don't need to. Tabletop/portable Mode is of Nintendo design and would be implemented in via Nintendo, not by DE. All your technical BS is you criticizing the switch. while you do have points, all and all it won't matter by the end of the day, because people will still want to play a game and playing it on a portable device that even modern tablets wouldn't be able to do, is a great plus.

Hardware limitations aside, how do you see this playing out gameplay-wise? The Switch is intended to be portable, and Warframe would require a strong internet connection at all times...

well, if they take advantage of what the switch has (like touch screen and motion control)... gameplay-wise, it probably would be the better gaming. Have like the abilities at the touch of your screen, have very quick and accurate motion control aiming. But if they don't take advantage of the switch, it will be like any other console play... just on the go and where you have connection. Would be kinda cool to go to your friends house and play warframe together, but we don't really have that option with xbox or ps4... unless you take the time to unhook, pack everything, go to friends, hook up, play, and then unhook, return home. (too much work)

While warframe would have to "downgrade" on graphics and stuff to make the game able to play at an optimal way, on a 720p screen, it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. However, everyone is different and there are people that have to have a game that is visually attractive or they will not play it. (even if the game is still crappy... and my example would be Vindictus) Of course, there are games out there that are the opposite too. Visually crappy and yet super fun to play, because of the many things you can do (my example would be minecraft... seriously, one of the top selling games and yet the graphics is a bunch of blocks).

The switch does have a very good connection and while I may not have tested everything out on it, I have played some of my games on a hotspot/smartphone internet connection and had little problems (it's a cheap phone, didn't have much power to it). Splatoon 2 is a nintendo software, but it is a great base to show how well the connection with the internet is and how it can handle multiplayer.

Wouldn't work. One of the main selling points with the Switch is that you can take it anywhere on the go. Except anywhere that doesn't have an internet connection because Warframe is an online game. So you wouldn't be able to take the switch on long road trips.

more than half of the stores in my town have free internet, some of them good and some of them bad. Either way, I still have managed to play splatoon 2 online and away from home with no problems. If I'm really that desperate, I can get out my mobile and activate the hotspot. There are quite a few deals out there with unlimited data and they are not too bad. (seriously, there's like a deal for $50/month of unlimited talk, text, and data. And there are some that are lower than that.) But if you are really wanting to save all that money for your long road trip, you are more than welcome to. I just find your point not having much weight to be valid. Not trying to be offensive or anything.

    A game this violent?

    On Nintendo's hardware?

    Like that'll ever happen.

And then Doom came out on the nintendo switch.... goes to show you anything can happen.

Yeah, i'm bumping an old thread here, but now that the dust is settling, I can give an opinion on the matter. For the Switch to be able to function with warframe is possible. In fact, there wouldn't be much in way of program changes... unless they want to program around the motion controls, but if they want to save money, it's a simple port over. The game data space that is required for PC is 20+ GB (mine says 18GB and that with the recent plains update). With optimization and lower resolution, that can drop a good sum of GB (like how they had Doom that was like 71GB to 21GB (of course they did more than optimization and lower resolution, but hey)). The Switch system has a 30GB base with the extension of microSD making the warframe more than possible to be able to play on the switch. The cost as a player would be the Nintendo online play pass thingy which is like what... $15 a year? allowing you to play games online. However, there are downsides which are like the costs of having new servers for switches and the risk of gaming population... and I mention the population because of how other people are downgrading the switch and are not supporting the idea of warframe on switch. All in all, it's really up to DE and how much they really want to move to the switch.

In any case, I would support DE move towards the switch if they were to move that direction. I know some of you will nitpick the things I have said, but I want to ask you a simple question before you make your comments, "Would you support having Warframe on the switch?" This is not a question of whether the switch is capable or it's specs, it's a question of "if it happens, would you go for it"

  6. One thing that i have hated about having to receive certain buffs, is the fact of having to "roll" or "backroll" out of the buff every time that it is casted to be able to get out of the buff. In general, buffs are something one would like to have, however, there are some buffs that I rather not deal with period. One buff I rather not have at all is Volt's sprint buff. While the buff does have other advantages to it then just sprint, it is very annoying and an ability that i rather not have. And it's even worse to deal with it when the volt player is spamming the ability and you have to keep "backrolling" every time.

I would like to have in some type of options a list of every "buff" ability and an option to enable or disable receiving the buff of choice. I don't want to keep rolling every 5 secs a buff is spammed/cast.

    -edit-

I just realized i posted this in the wrong area.... and there doesn't seem to be a way to delete this so i can post it elsewhere...

  7. here's my feedback on Titania.

Her abilities has some great ideas behind them, however, the synergy and uses are little due to the fact that they do not really help in overall combat. mostly because of bugs, need of tweeking of the frame/abilities, or the fact that you are vulnerable most of the time.

    1. needs more range.

    2. stacking with "random" buffs...too much use of the power and energy to get somewhere with buffs, and too much time to get buffs. (pretty much just ignoring this ability at times)

    3. i read some past comments...yeah, lantern isn't really drawing the attention of enemies nor is it movable when you attack it. My suggestion is different, I would like to have this ability automatically float towards other enemies instead of having it stationary and still be movable if you attack it.....that or make the ability slowly orbit around the frame.

4.Speed, actual size vs. projected size (tried sneaking past lasers in pint size...somehow "touched" a laser even though i cleared it by visual), and possible stat rework.

I have also found that she is either extremely squishy or the enemies have like 100% accuracy on her.  it's like she gets one shot. I have to use her abilities to survive and when i'm out of energy, i'm freaken doomed.

Also at times, when i die while using her 4th and then get revive by teammates, I am still in use of the pixi weapons and float like similar to pixi mode.

  8.  Okay, yeah, that seems broken. Prowl should not break if the weapon is truly silenced, if it does, the weapon(s) in question need(s) to be looked at by the devs and should be reported.

I've been running with my Paris Prime and it works perfectly fine, plus a sidearm with mod. The only actions that remove Prowl are running/sliding/glide-dashing and using any unsilenced weapon (tho the effect is only for a short instant in this case).

haven't had any problems with modded weapons, just text silent. Going to test out a few more things....

    Edit:

ok I tried another silent text weapon and it's working fine... so it appears that there are selected few weapons with Silent text not working properly. Daikyu and Talons are 2 that are now working properly. I don't have all weapons out there, so I can't tell you if there are more.

  9. Sounds more like a bug to me, unless you're accidentally killing people in front of their buddies.

with enemy sensor, I can say that I am not accidentally killing in front of their buddies. In fact, after I kill one of them that's a distance and unseen by buddy... all the red dots start rushing to my location as if I made an explosion. Even my bow takes me out of Ivara's Prowl when fired. Kinda wondering if this is just only a problem with Ivara and silent text weapons.

  10. Nobody gets alerted unless you hit the terrain near them, or someone sees a corpse, and even then, they get merely "curious" (negating the stealth XP bonus if you kill them before they resume their patrol)

Any unsilenced weapon will pull Ivara shortly out of her prowl stance, (you decloak, fire, recloak, basically), and anything that is silenced (normally or via mod) will not affect Prowl negatively.

ok 2 things, I am hitting targets in a stealth way (unseen, corpse unseen, target like several meters away from others, ect.) still alerting. also, for some reason, with my bow or other silentt text weapons, it takes me out of Prowl temporarly just like an unsilent weapon. The only weapons that don't do this is ones that have been modded with hush or suppress. Daikyu and Talons are 2 weapons that have silent text and are doing this.

at 4:35 you can see this person using Talons (a silent weapon) with Prowl and how it isn't working accordingly.

  11. With the new Ivara frame out, I decided that I wanted to try her out with some bows and other weapons to experiment. Found out that my Bow the Daikyu and other bows and "silent" text weapons are alerting nearby enemies after use. Can't do stealth with them unless I have "hush" or "suppress" mods on them.

Was there a recent change to them that I wasn't aware of?

  12. weapons that have the text "silent" on them (example: bows) alert enemies after use. Weapons that have "hush" or "suppress" mods on it, do not alert enemies. I don't think this was intended. plz fix this asap.

  13. Supposedly silent weapons aren't silent

Currently bugged because to make it silenced - hush/ pistol equivalent needs to be put on

Though - the ragdolling is great

I was wondering about that. Was going around with my bow and Talons which had the "silent" text already on them and was alerting the heck out of enemies. would love it if they fixed that asap.

  14. The first description (Not using the spoiler button, because a summary should do just fine)

and The 5th comments edit. They contradict each other. One says "Makes them disappear" the other says "Pulls them toward you"

"- use Pocket Watch to bring them closer, get out melee and stab them one by one"

bring and pull has different meanings.

but I'll look into changing the first description more. Thank you for finally giving me some constructive criticism.

  15. The 5th comment on this thread is where you changed your mind.

I say it is not a stealth frame because a stealth frame is characterized by many "cloak and Dagger" skills, you have one. One is not many.

I have been giving you criticism. I've told you your "stealth" frame is anything but. With that in mind you should've made alterations to either change the base of the frame, or better reflect its none stealth nature.

As for changes I recommend you think about what you want her to really be. She's not a stealth frame as is, she's a jack of all trades.

    .

"Cloak and Dagger"? Banshee is more like gun and silencer. And i'm going to refer you to Banshee on mostly everything, because she is a stealth frame and she can do more. Like 5x damage increase, stunning, aoe toggled stunning...

The original text -"send enemies out of normal space or “pocket” them for a limited amount of time (like 10 secs at max rank). If the time runs out, the enemies will reappear at the location they originally were. If the ability was used again before time runs out, then the enemies that were “pocketed” will appear at the location targeted."

The explanation - "ok... ummm, i think you have to wrong idea on most things. starting with Loki's switch and my 3rd- you say that teleporting them somehow alerts them... Loki's switch doesn't do much alerting. And the fact that you think it's like a rooting ability is wrong. you cast Pocket Watch, they will disappear from the field and will reappear after recast or time runs out. If anything, it's like a Loki's switch, but with a delayed teleport."

the only thing i see is the fact that I did put "disappear" but instead "normal space or pocket" in the explanation of the ability. And then referring it to Loki's switch ability to help you get a better understanding. At what point did I confuse you more?
