  1. My friend tries to login to warframe so we can play together and he gets this message: (Update failed! Please try again later. The update will be restarted shortly..) and now that he has some free time, we can't play together. On the other hand, i updated normally this morning and i can login and play normally. He says that a file is corrupted, which is a PNG image of 567KB that he checked on the launcher logs. Fix this please.

  2. i think the alert system is bugged after that last fix, because before the last fix we could get at least 3-4 different helmets a day, we must inform someone for this. The last few days we only get heat daggers, heat swords, dagger axe skins (we got a manticore skin), dark swords, we 're full of these

  3. so i go into golem (orokin derelict) and except the fact that i searched all mission and found 6 more extra golem navs, the bps are rewarded at the end of the mission and i got a nekros helmet and now i ma gonna be doing another assasination cause i i had 10 used 5 and got 6 more, so we dont need to be whiners in the forums only for the crafting time, cause its really insane to wait 3 and 6 hours, i hope they drop that one out, good farming, i hope i helped with my info

  4. ....trust me when i said : "if we do this.... the potatoes after 1 month will be just another recourse alert" (it's mean the potatoes will loose it's valuable ALOT)

    yeah, but their value will not be lost if u have the privilege to build one at a month or one at a week, maybe two weeks

  5. i had 2 problems my self so far, one is that lech kril become's invincible, it's like we're shooting his backpack for hours and never turning red so he can freeze and second, vor always drops miter barrel and lech kril always drops miter blueprint, it's like they stuck with these dropping like everyone else getting chassis now lately

  6. Telling folks to disable a necessary security feature completely is a BAD idea. Forwarding ports and creating inbound ACL entries for them is not ideal either but at least it limits exposure a little.

    DE...please stop being like 99% of the online game developers and being lazy with netcode. Solutions for peer-to-peer stateful connectivity have been in place for literally decades. it is not that hard to have a centralised server perform a network preamble between the clients, where they agree on the ports to use,  and then have each push the reverse connection to the peers. Problem solved while maintaining NAT and Firewall state.

    thank you for clearing that up, it's just i have my antivirus firewall and i really want other people play, i don't understand things about forwarding ports and i am afraid of breaking anything by trying do something that i don't know, and disabling the firewall on the router was easy for me and my friend, sorry

  7. This is what's wrong with the community these days.

    "If you can't get your internet straight..." That's a statement of someone who's ignorant to the basics in general. A person doesn't control how his internet works. Someone who can't afford a high-speed connection, or lives out in the bush, should not be hindered because of it, or because the local exchange may be suffering faults. Not to mention people may have steady connections when playing with another host, but their line doesn't meet the requirements for hosting.

    "If people can't play multiplayer, join games or host" another ignorant statement. Firstly, you gotta manually invite people, and with the Peer to Peer system in place, it's once again, not anyone's fault. People live all over the place, in different georgraphical locations.

    "and/or friends to play with then boohoo, tough luck" You must obviously have a list of 'friends' that you keep, you must also obviously be a guy who has thousands of 'friends' on facebook.

    To top it off, there is no 'queing' system for the void. You either solo, or you invite.

    TL:DR - This is what's wrong with the community, and you should grow up.

    actually me and my friend, who live 5-6 blocks away couldn't play together and it was frustrating, but i found the solution for all the people you can't play online, go to router's options and disable the firewall, after that me and my friend could join each other session without hosting problems too (which we had before), when i asked DE to help me with this problem, they sent me to sites with internet stuff that i had to forward some ports and i wouldn't understand nothing, know i'm good, i hope i helped and know people can play together

  8. Missions take about 4-5 minutes each (With Volt)

    Each alert stays on for about 2 hours and tend to overlap

    Each alert occurs with around 2-3 hour breaks in-between.

    Going solo you need to do 100 corpus void key missions.

    To get the parts solo you need to get 100 of each part (Total 200)

    That's a minimum of 300 missions - with total game time (Just playing the missions) being between;

    300 x 4 = 1200 minutes = 20 hours

    300 x 5 = 1500 minutes = 25 hours

    So you spend between 20-25 hours just in the missions themselves.

    Then you factor in that you can only do about 24-30 missions during the time the alert is active - meaning you need to wait for the alert to appear at least 3-4 times to get 100 missions done for each (With gaps of 2 hours in-between) so that's a minimum of 6 hours to your current time - You then factor in the fact that the alert missions occur roughly simultaneously - so double the added time to 12 hours waiting between alert missions;

    300 missions x 4 minutes + 12 hours = 32 hours

    300 missions x 5 minutes + 12 hours = 37 hours

    You then have to factor in the loading screens (10 second intro - 10 second outro) per mission - so add an additional 1 hour 40 minutes to your time

    300 missions x 4 minutes + 12 hours + 1 hour 40 minutes = 33 hours 40 minutes

    300 missions x 5 minutes + 12 hours + 1 hour 40 minutes = 38 hours 40 minutes

    The time for the event last approximately 72 hours - given the ideal time of sleeping is 12 hours - that leaves you with 36 hours awake - so unless you are on Warframe constantly you wont achieve it in time solo.

    ---

    For those who want to do it in groups - that's ok if you have a group of people who are online. If you don't then you are going to be online constantly to try to get the points you need.

    When I suggested 'points to unlock mods' I meant points that were easier to reach - not one's that mean you have to be in a group of 4 to stand any chance of completing

    why going solo, when you can easily go to recruiting section and ask from players to invite you or after crafting keys, u start inviting in the recruiting section, u might not believe this, but i got 548 points and i crafted only around 10 keys, all the other points was from invites :)

  9. Actually i was waiting DE to announce rewards before the event. Because they didn't, i decided for fun to compete, gaining places among the top 100 or the top 10. So i spend my entire weekend without sleeping, getting the 18 rank place with 534 points, conclusion: it was all worthless. I should have stopped at 100 as it seems. And now as i see, points still going up for the 2nd phase. Worst case scenario, in the end they will reveal that they decided to give  prizes to top 10 and top 100.

  10. I had this sort of bug a lot of times and there are 2 ways of solving this, as the two above ansered already. When you are in a lockdown bug, you can't prossess forward but you can go back to the previous rooms so 1) find a window and smash it to cause lockdown or 2) find some enemies in the previous rooms (always show up or spawn some enemies) and run around them (don't kill them) until one of them decides to lockdown. Until this bug is fixed, do one of the following instead of aborting the mission. Hope i helped :D!

  11. I was playing with a friend the mission Themisto all day, farming volt bluprints and everytime we killed Golem my friend, who was hosting, could take the mods, blueprints and materials dropped above the Golem and i could only take the blueprints (if any) and mods. I couldn't see materials above Golem and the funny part, a boss always drops materials. He told me that it was my connection's fault, until the last game we played together except that i was hosting this time. When we killed Golem the same thing happened to him. I could take the materials and such and he couldn't see the materials like i was everytime we had played. So we thought this is a hosting problem and decided to make a thread of it because we think this might be happening to all boss missions, not just Themisto. I lost 5 neural sensors because of this bug, fix it fast please, that wasn't enjoyable at all.

  12. I don't except from new players to understand those who played the closed beta version (including me). The game was tested by us and we told people and friends to come join us to this new like experience and the coclusion of all this.... DE trying to throw closed beta testers out of the game indirectly because the only thing we wanted is to be this game an awesome one and continue his road brilliantly and instead Warframe will gain popularity so the new players like you, who find the update awesome, take advantage of you without realizing it and oh.....we are the bad guys now....i'm sooo sorry, you're right....this game is awesome....it doesn't matter that i played it earlier... you are so right 'new fishes'. I was complaining to my friend about doing a reset to my account and that i can't find rare mods instead of complaining on the forums and you know what...i don't care if they want money because everybody says 'they need money'... eternal beta forever....
