[Question Re: Mods On Pistols/akpistols]

Ok, I've got an afuris cooking in the foundry, and it's using the furis thats equipped on my current frame as well as another I crafted preveiously. My question is this: when the timer is up andthe afuris is created, do the mods in the original pistol get destroyed, returned to my inventory, or remain in place?
