    • Generally introduce yourself:  I enjoy pulling established patterns and builds apart and putting them back together in interesting ways, which is why the sheer depth of Warframe is able to hold my interest.  I come primarly from a background of shooters, so my playstyle is more support and tactical than sitting in the middle of the map blowing up enemies I can't even see, thus I typically don't run DPS frames, though I'm working on my AOE repertoire for when that sort of thing is necessary for team synergy.  I enjoy helping new players see the beauty within the grind, and I don't hate on people for not knowing how to play a given frame, and often offer advice- I sometimes joke that I'm the founder of the Limbo Rehabilitation Institute.

    • What are you looking for in a clan:  I've quit Warframe twice for long periods because I eventually despair of finding a community that isn't plagued with apathy and disinterest.  I am looking for a group of people who enjoy the game, instead of people that hang around because they've invested so much time in the game they feel obliged to stay.  I want a clan where when someone says, "Anyone want to do X?" or, "Can someone help me with X?" it isn't met with resounding silence.  Most of all, I'm looking for a clan that sets standards and enforces them, and that has a degree of discernment in their recruiting process instead of simply inviting anyone who can type their IGN and click 'Accept'.

    Greetings.  I, too, have returned to the game after a rather lengthy hiatus and I confess to be a bit overwhelmed by the exhaustive overhaul some of the key game mechanics have undergone.  I have 24 frames in my arsenal, 25 once Inaros finishes baking, and I'm always willing to fill any support roles needed by the team, although I'm happiest when I'm slaughtering Infested with my Scindo Prime at 150mph with Valkyr.  I also enjoy Archwing, and I was 2/3 of the way to getting Elytron.when I quit playing, so finishing that will be a priority.  Thanks.

    Atomos Is Disappointing.

    1 forma, and I can hold down the stairs on any Void Defense on my lonesome with this gun.

    Atomos is pure hax, but the price of its hax is that it is awkward to use, coz it occludes your POV and you can't really see what you're shooting at. It reminds me of using Acrid, the way the enemies just...fall down.

    You want to know what was in the Ark of the Covenant?

    It was Atomos.

    Edit: When you pull out Atomos, tap 'H' to shift the POV to over your left shoulder, and hey presto! Atomos's hax has no price.

    Long has been my trek through these forums, trawling the wretched dross for a glimmer of gold.  Hell, I'd have taken gold-plating if it was shiny enough!  Half a dozen times or so have I attached myself to a vessel, hoping to find a home, only to surrender myself once again to the abyss.  Some might brand me faithless, disloyal, or worse, but their cries fall on deaf ears, for I have a purpose, and it has called me to you.  Amongst the wreckage, the tags, and the badly-typed subject lines was one word that called out to me like a beacon:

    Anyone who would implore forum surfers to do anything seriously has got to be straight up brimming with the same kind of impossibly obstinate conviction that has kept me going on my long voyage.

    Wow, very impressive application i think this is the longest one yet, kudos on it being your first forum post too. XD  

    we're currently full, but since you put so much work into this app i would just like to ask you to wait a week or so, we usually do weekly inactive member sweeps by that time, and ill definitely make sure you get one of the spots that opens up. 

     

    not giving you priority recruitment, but since you put so much effort, i thought i'd give you a heads up. 

    just be a little patient.

    About Me:

    I've been playing Warframe for about 6 months, which is an inordinate span of time for a game to hold my interest.  I've often felt like my brain is like a spinning teacup ride, as I normally rotate my various interests obsessions on a monthly basis, but I've yet to oscillate away from Warframe for some reason.  Possibly it's the way you can butcher your foes at 150mph with two axes made out of POISON.

     

    As for my online gaming resume, the only other mmo I've played for longer than a few months was World of Warcraft, in which I built up and ran the largest casual raiding guild on my server, <Ataraxia>, that lasted a good two and half expansions.  However, I abdicated soon after learning that they were following up WORLDWIDE DEVASTATION by a TITANIC DRAGON GOD with...panda bears.  Urgh.

     

    I also wish to state that my modded Fallout 3 installation was EPIC.

     

    My last clan was of the sort where the leadership would periodically invite any player who could form a relatively coherent sentence to the effect of 'Can I join your clan?', which was alright for awhile, but recently the clan has been plagued by little kids who think that racial slurs and gay jokes are the height of sophisticated humor.  I want a clan with a relaxed and groovy atmosphere that can also get serious when claret is imminent.

     

    What I bring to the clan:

    I like to think I have a fairly solid grasp on modding theory, but I suspect that I still have a lot to learn.  I like to help new players, coz I know what it's like to BE a new player and have NO help, and I love exploring void towers to find all the secret areas.

     

    I am adept at the following frames:

    Valkyr: By far my favorite frame, I have her built for warcry, not for being hysterical all the time

    Nova: I can do fast or slow

    Nekros: Modded for max range desecrate with Despoil

    Mag Prime: I don't yet have Greedy Pull  :(

    Nyx: Wanna be my friend until you die horribly?

    Oberon: I really, really wish Oberon was viable when the going gets tough

    Volt: Modded for shielding

     

    I am currently leveling Frost Prime and Rhino Prime, both of which I find incredibly boring, as well as Chroma.  Vauban is baking...
