  2. Playing as Zephyr, died by laser (on purpose) on top of the frozen/slow floor panel. I noticed my bleedout timer was very slow, by what I would estimate is the same reduction that we see for movement.  Another player died and bled out before I did.

Not sure if this is intended, seems like it shouldn't be.

    Cheers.

  3. Be sure to check out this group. Whether you're a fan of running towers, farms, spy, raids or event try hards.

Been around a while? They have experienced members that you can quantum entangle with, they speak your language.

Newer to the scene? Prepare for a quantum leap from some of the tenured clan members as they're happy to show you the ropes.

Looking for chill folks? There's no quantum splitting going on, no drama makes for a great environment.

Want to be the best in legitimate scoring events? There's a special quantum collective that you have a chance to try out for!

  4. I play Ash mostly, here are some of my thoughts.

Immortal skin is highly recommended.  The various helms can add a lot of flair too.  For colors start with a primary of either a white/sand or a black/very dark tint.

I use Smoke palette for my black or white. Storm is phenomenal for the sand.  Pull something from Fire or Storm for your red/regal looks, and Ice for your blue/cool looks.

Currently using black and gold to get a prime-ish feel.  Targis armor as well.

  5. I like to redesign Warframes / builds and forma fun weapons (ie. Wraith Twin Vipers) that really serve no long-term purpose but could use a good build to make more fun (max speed twin vipers, hilarious, more or less not useful, and fun). I also try to find newer players on Mercury/Venus and run a few planets with the same group. Sadly the Mercury Relay is full of people making so much random chat no one even hopes to find a group there.

  6. I just finished a two week break after some burnout in Warframe that consisted of syndicate rep spam and retiring for the night.  I have to say... the changes made in that time have dramatically increased my enjoyment of the game and I can't seem to put my finger on all the specifics, but here are some:

    1. Improved lighting and colouring across the game.  The darks are dark again. My warframes have a more regal feel, as intended when I originally coloured them.

    2. Smooth gameplay. I haven't encountered any lag even when I'm not the host.

    3. Revamped syndicate gains.  Encourages missions, makes me want to do missions.

    4. AI / Mission Difficulty.  This seems to be the most dramatic improvement. I walked into a solo Exalted Exterminate (Red Veil) with Grineer and was extremely, pleasantly, surprised that I needed to watch my ammo and health. That I couldn't just run through. That I could strategically use abilities and that I didn't want to spam abilities because it was a nice challenge to play the ninja.

Bravo.  Looking forward to more.  I don't feel the need to grind, just hop in and enjoy some good rounds that can be fun, challenging, not overwhelming (have Nightmare for that), but most of all well designed and thought out.

  7. Really fun idea.  As a numbers guy, I like this.  However, I'm dying to get my hands on the actual data. Lots of possibilities and it was really simplified for the first post.  Number of deaths 'as of late', deaths per mission, per mastery rank, per time played.  I bet the DE analysts have a hay day trying to make actionable follow-ups from this data.  (And balance).

  8. I think a very nice enhancement would be to have a by palette random color generator for appearances.  The current random button could be kept, but it'd be nice to be able to select a specific palette as my color palette and lock the random button to cycling through only colors available on that palette.  As is if I want a nice random from Storm, I have to click random a good few (maybe 5, maybe 10) times to get a new Storm random generation.

    Thanks,

    DF

  9. I find it a bit frustrating that my Y Axis is locked in Archwing.  It would be much more immersive if we could infinitely roll/yaw/pitch without having to spin around while staring 'down' when down doesn't really exist in space.

    +1 If you agree.

    Best,

  10. The goal isn't for you to make platinum on what you buy with your platinum, it's to use what you buy because you wanted it.  The packs support the game.  However, it's a very rookie way to use your platinum and not surprising at all. There could be better "How to Spend Platinum" guides, for sure.  But ultimately you're responsible and you thought it was worth it when you made the decisions.

  11. What is it that you like about Warframe?

That we think things up and DE implements.  That virtually anything is fair game for expansion.  Archwing is an example.  Where the heck did the idea come from? I don't care. How does it fit into lore? We'll make it work.  Because it's about new and fun items.  I can also take a break from Warframe for a few months, come back and have new things to do that doesn't feel like grind.  Additionally, I feel like there's virtually no social drama.  I don't have to fret about ten year-olds or forty year-olds screaming into a microphone but I can still connect with a clan for some good games.

What is it that keeps you playing (as a new player versus now)?

    Gotta catch them all.

(Assuming you have) How do you justify the amount of money you have spent on this game?

Anyone buying a single player game knows they're forking over $50 for a one time play through that's likely less than forty hours.  I once bought one and beat it in twelve hours, I was &!$$ed.  I'm happy to support and spend money on a game after I put time into it.  Every hundred hours or so I buy a platinum pack, also helps with getting rid of the grind and I love compliments on my frame designs.
