Let individuals extract from survival missions

Please DE it's such a simple solution, I understand both sides of this issue but I'm tired of having to abort kuva survival and spending all that time for nothing because some random pub group wants to go several hours. I'm not faulting them, more power to them, but sometimes life happens and I can't stay in a mission that long. It's REALLY frustrating to go 40 min and then get dumped on by the other players just for asking how long they intend to go. Then when I can't stay in the mission my only option is to abort and lose all progress and rewards. Why can't we just choose to extract individually? This is especially an issue with kuva survival. Surely I'm not the only player that feels this way.
