And this explains how the concept of PvP, which is not DE's primary goal of creating Warframe, is still able to fit in the lore with some tweeks (ie, making PvP duels). So why not or how can the different farming concept not be tweeked to fit in the lore?

Hm good point, you should have brought this up in the first place. What about pickpocketing? Isn't it considered stealing stuffs but at a smaller scale?

I do agree that we space ninjas are specialised in killing and stealth only. Then again, many call warframe 'farmframe'. We are technically farmers lol.

Akaik there's nothing about stealing in any party of the WF lore. Hayden was an assassin in modern times, I assume that he was probably able to pickpocket. Tenno also have various stealth capabilities. There are also two mods with "thief" in the name. I wouldn't say that pickpocketing would be out of the realm of reasonableness. That being said, why bother picking the pockets of someone you're about to kill and pop into a piñata of lootables?

Warframe is a shooter game, unlikely that mining/fishing/cutting ressources is going to interest its players.

Plus it is in the far future, in space, everything must be automatized by this time.

 

The best I can think of is a kind of defense mission where instead of a cryopod there is a manufacturing/mining machine, and each 5 waves you decide if you got enough ressources.

Or a Mod that increases the chances/quality of loot on killed mobs, like in Diablo

No no. Intergrate it into the new survival mission set: Craft mining bots with nano spores, bring it into the mission. Every 2 minutes the mining bots will spit out  resources.  Survival now has a purpose! The longer you survive, the less mining bots you need to craft, the more resources you get per bot.
