VKhaun
Hit sprint+direction key while holding down the aim button. Your character will do a roll or flip in the direction and come back up still aiming. I don't find it to be terribly useful unfortunately. Most projectiles and attacks are just too big to dodge. Ancients for example will still hit me when I try to flip away while aiming. They won't reach out and strike until they're too close to flip away, or so it seems. Napalm/Bombard rounds have huge hitboxes and home in on you, so if you do the roll early enough to not get hit by the missile or the AoE explosion it just corrects and hits you anyway. The only time I dodge is when fighting CORPUS that can kill me easily. They tend to all run out and fire at about the same time, or will all turn and fire when alerted or as I enter a room. One good dodge after they all fire will make a huge volley of lasers miss. Eventually they get out of sync and it doesn't work anymore. Even then I don't usually think about it and just run to cover.
