Default faces are the worst.

Most non-default faces are terrible.

Gotta try hard to make a nice one.

Gotta proportion and angle the nose and it's sections correctly, first off

Then shrink it a little bit, along with the mouth

Then make sure your age and head size are correct

Afterwards you wanna $&*^ around with the jaw and chin

It all works if you know what you're doing

I just screw around until I like it, then I leave for an hour or two and come back so I can properly see every mistake.

Then I just finish up the fine tuning and be done with it all.

Yep.

Honestly, my biggest problem is not in making the face, it is with the fashion later on.

I kinda maybe have a problem with keeping to one outfit...

Yeah

There's heavy armor that looks good, but it's heavy

There's some light armor that looks good, but a lot of it's magic-oriented

The armor pool isn't as big as you think once you realize all the restrictions

I end up simply looking past restrictions and just use whatever I want.

Heavy armor is not usually an issue because my main character is a strength build, and I roll the Steel set on her.

Honestly, the Steel set looks really great. Imposing, but retaining a knightly air.

If I'm not using that, I roll priestess robes, Smelter Demon leggings, Manchettes of judgement, and the Saint's hood.

Or I roll Looking Glass leggings, Throne Watcher's armor, Heide Knight gauntlets, and Ruin Helm/Saint's hood/Knight Helm/Nothing.

I particularly like the last one.

I'm open to alternatives if you have any.

Except the Heide Knight Leggings, too dirty for me.

Also, a big ew to the saint's hood and knight helmet.

And I don't have a lot.

Wanderer leggings and Heide are the only ones that really work.

Because the mesh squishing sucks.

OH!

Mastodon leggings.

Saint's Hood is more or less a necessity, depending on if I want to use more miracles or not.

Knight helmet is alright, not good, but alright.

Mastodon leggings will not work due to not being colored a silvery white.

Also, if I may ask, what's wrong with the LGL?

On my main, I run two sets

Hexer Robe, wanderer manchettes/leggings, and smelter UGS / Buckler

-or-

Drangleic mail, rogue leggings, rogue gauntlets, and arch shield w/dark craftsman's hammer +5

Both of those sets have pyro flame in right and black witch staff in left

Get the elite knight one.

It's so much better.

And there are only, like, two leggings that have white coloring.

Oh, them?

Perhaps the grotesque feet.

And the poofy bits.

And my bias towards LGK.

Elite Knight leggings are not colored properly!

Also, you get used to the boots after a bit.

I kind of like them to be honest, reminds me of the Roman Empire a little bit.

The LGK reminds me of a legionary actually.

Probably why I like him so much.

I don't like bland, knightly armor, really

It's too stereotypical, too boring, too overused

Not all of it, but if you're just gonna throw on knight, elite knight, or steel, then meh

It can work when combined with other things, though

Do I need to crack out my fashion?

I make it a point to never wear more than two parts of the same armor.

I hate LGK.

He's got a lot of flaws.

And I was talking about the elite knight helmet.

The elite knight leggings look horrible.

The kneepads or whatever don't have, like, any mesh!

Too bad you wear helmets
