Revamp Conflict Missions

What if the Tenno were introduced into the conflict system? Maybe we can add more nodes of the Tenno faction, which could be the target of the Grinner and Corpus. But since the Tenno are focused on keeping peace, rather than world domination, they would build places that protect traders, travelers, and supply lines. Other things can also be made that help peaceable people. These nodes would host several NPCs looking to sell rare items. The longer a node is established, the more NPCs can be there, which will increase the chances of finding a rare item. These are like Relays, but much more numerous, and much more targeted to attacks. Players would do their own part in protecting the places under attack, and taking back the ones under control by enemy factions, contributing to progress meters that the Tenno share, so everyone impacts each other with their own successes. Different places would be near different planets, yielding different people with different wares that are exclusive to the area, which would encourage the community to defend as many nodes as possible. Missions to protect nodes will consist of destroying galleons and ships in regular missions and fleets of enemies in Archwing missions. Missions to take back these nodes will involve strategically building and deploying things like ammo supplies, buffs, turrets, and assault ships, to help other Tenno along the way. This could still be accomplished without Xbox Live Gold or Playstation Plus, since the players don't have to interact directly with each other, but are sharing progress instead. Sometimes, if an enemy faction takes over the node completely, that could change the objective from taking back the place to destroying it. This will result in having to start over again by looking for an unoccupied node, protecting it, and attracting new merchants to build up the node's popularity. If the node is to be destroyed, but no one follows through, the faction can capture unsuspecting traders, basically turning the node into a money trap, which the enemy can fuel on to grow stronger, resulting in more invasions to other enemies including the Tenno. Adding this mechanic to invasions would really bring the community together and be an excellent addition to the drop system, by taking away drop dilution and putting variety in its place.
