Goudstalen
So at the end of this year AMD is releasing a new API called Mantle, which can replace DirectX and OpenGL (and is supposed to be much more efficient on slower GPU's and APU's). Apparently the PS4 and Xbox One are both using Mantle (at least a version of it), and since the PS4 is getting a Warframe version, i was wondering if the PC version might get an update contaning Mantle support. What do you guys think about it? I think it would be great to have a better performing API. A problem i have right now is that i'm only getting 30-40 fps in the game, with occasional drops to below 20 fps. It's a shame since the game is only using around 20% of my CPU and 30% of my GPU. Hopefully Mantle can make better use of my GPU and prevent framedrops. Edited September 26, 2013 by DGonlag2
JerichoFayne
I think anything new is going to be seriously screwed up & incompatible with anything for the first 6 months it's out....so I'll sit patiently & watch the forum rage about it until the dust clears. Valentine_Grim
I hope it would be an improvement too. Missing on PhysX effects is upsetting as is, wouldn't want to have other complications as well.
Shion963
Hopeful, but not expectant. Hey if Mantle-mode makes it run better on slower AMDs it might just provide a good counterpoint to PhysX on nvidia. EDIT: Provide, not Proved. Derpy brain.
