R3leaZ Posted September 26, 2013 Share Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) I'm half Japanese and I ended up listening to a bunch of Japanese music and mainly been following music covers from this particular person: Yurica AKA Hanatan. She has such a great voice and I love the songs she covers. She covers music that were originally sung by Vocaloids and I find that she gives so much life and emotion to those songs with her beautiful and powerful voice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJFEYTR6e74 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJFEYTR6e74 I love these songs because they often have such a good story behind them (though not many will understand it since it's in Japanese). These songs have a nice story written in their lyrics and it actually required more skill to make it. This is made with a lot of instruments and little of it is synthetic except for a few sounds. It's a lot different than a lot of the new music that appears which is often 100% synthetic with exception of voice and even that is at times autotuned. If I knew she participated in some doujin albums, I would definitely collect them.
