When I first entered these 2 new open world places, it was very confusing and overwhelming. If it weren't for my friends helping out and guiding me on what each item did (Fishing spears, Mining, etc) I would have dropped the game. I suggest that when you buy something from the vendor for the first time such as the fishing spear, they would provide an introductory mission to get you started (Like sending you out into the plains to catch a specific fish while teaching you the mechanics).
