Sentient cores robbery

So I was getting intact sentient cores while the squad I joined were doing a bounty. The host left after the bounty was finished, they left by selecting quit mission and not the Cetus doorway. I got dragged to my orbiter too and lost the cores I had gotten.

 

I would have thought the devs would have come up with a system so we wouldn’t lose our items because the host quits the mission as we’re not responsible for their actions.
