Can I Build A Frame With Only The Alt. Helmet?

I have all the Loki and Excal parts sitting in my Foundry including the Loki Essence helmet. But building everything would leave me with only 8 alloy plate. I'd rather have some spare. Can I skip the regular Loki helmet and build Loki only with the Essence helmet?

I.e. Essence Helmet + Loki Chasis + Loki Systems. Would that work?

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. Alt Helmets are only for customization after the fact; as the frame blueprint states, the "Loki Helmet" is what's required.

I don't think you'd be able to do that, easy way to check, when in the foundry, where you have to building Loki you have manually check off the parts before you can create it, when checking off the helemet, if it gives you the option to use the essence helmet, then there you go.
