Unable to drop Ionic Charge canister if you only have a melee weapon equipped

Reproduction:

1. Load into an Ascension mission and with only a melee weapon equipped.
2. Pick up an Ionic Canister
3. Press "F" and attempt to drop it (or console equivalent)

• You will be unable to drop the canister

 

1.  Load into another Ascension mission, and this time use a Secondary/Primary weapon
2. Pick up a Canister and attempt to drop it

• You should now be able to drop the canister.
