Flux V Synapse Feedback From A Flux User.

I don't want to see the Synapse's damage nerfed or the Flux's damage buffed buffed. I think the Synapse is fine as a strong weapon from clan tech limited by short range, and I don't want to see other weapons getting  damage buffed to that standard. With forma my Flux still does fine in Damage 2.0 when I stick eight maxed mods on it. No need for power creep.

 

I'd like to see Flux get a much longer range, say 50 or 60m, and/or innate punch-through like the Lanka has. Lots of it. Like 3.0 base.

I think they should just buff the range on the synapse. It's just to short in my range to make it a efficient weapon of choice as a primary.

Im glad someone other than myself knows how good flux is when modded correctly. Wouldnt mind a range increasing mod or buff though.

I have both. Honestly I think they both have different uses. Synapse Corrosive/Cold for Grineer, Magnetic/Heat for Corpus. And Flux hands down wrecks Infested, add on some gas and it's even more destructive. 

 

Flux can easily kill Grineer and Corpus to, but that hefty slash damage on it kinda leads it to Infested more than anything else. The range, eh. If I wanted to snipe I'd bring my Lanka. I already bring my Seer.

Synapse is fine as it is. But Flux is also not that bad.

However, a proposed range increase or punch through would make it more attractive compared to Synapse or even Soma.

btw. my Flux has only 0 Forma while Synapse 5 Forma.
