Azib.R
Why not split the braton into 3 weapons. they will still look and have the same feature like braton but only a change at their damages. Each of the bratons deal only 1 type of damage which is impact, slash and puncture(maybe lower base damage for puncture). YourLocustBuddy
To be technical, this is unnecessary. The reason for that is that the Braton has all of its damage types relatively close to each other. 6.6 impact damage, 6.6 puncture damage, and 6.8 slash damage. You can make the weapon focus on one type of damage simply by adding a piercing hit for puncture, rupture for impact, and sawtooth clip for slash. Meenmu
More bratons? We've already got like 4 though.
Kiteless
If we're going to talk weapons for beginners, the Braton, Strun, and Latron (I'd say Vulkar, but the Vulkar sucks) should all be made easily available to new players (25000 is reasonable). By time they hit 25000 credits, they should be acquainted enough with the basics of the game to figure out which playstyle they'd like to expand to, rather than being strong-armed into sticking with just the Braton which, as much as I used to love before damage 2.0 neutered it, can be seen as considerably bland when you've been working with its younger brother for so many missions.
