Let's expand on that. We need a bigger charge attack variety for melee weapons. For guns, we have automatics, semi-automatics, shotguns, continuous spray (Ignis, Embolist, etc.), (chargeable) projectiles, explosive projectiles and what else I may have forgotten. Yet for melee we only have a couple regular swings, one heavy charged swing or a charged throw. Different animation sets don't really count, that's almost like differentiating guns by their reload animations.

 

With how many melee weapons we have adding an Iaido-style charge attack alone won't cut it (heh), but as a first step for a bigger variety in melee weapons, not just looks, I'm all for it.
