Cycling Starters: Opinions

So, we can all see that there are plenty of starters with the first 3 frames, and many keep those frames for the duration due to how versatile they are.

 

But my point is this: All frames are versatile.

Searching the early sectors in the game with my new Valkyr frame, levelling it up with Randoms, I only saw 4 frames: Rhino, Mag, Loki and Excalibur.

 

What I'm suggesting is that Loki and Mag cycle through the different frames each month, keeping the same gender availability while also increasing variety in early-game.

An example of this would be Volt instead of Loki, and Ember instead of Mag.

 

Keeping end-game frames like Nekros, Zephyr, Banshee and Vauban out of the list would keep some degree of exclusivity, but it'd also mean that most Tenno are not given a selection of 1/3 frames by Lotus, but that the availability of frames changes with the respective popularity or use of others.

Personally, I think the starter frames just need a buff (mostly exca and mag), I wouldn't have a problem with this, except the newer frames and the re-worked/already good frames are so much better.

As long as we keep the variety of play styles open I'm fine with that.
We don't need Volt and Ember at the same time, or Frost and Mag.
