It's time for guns to get their own "Aura" - Trigger mods and Conversion mods Trigger mods force the gun into a specific trigger type if the gun isn't already in that mode, and gives the weapon a boost depending on the trigger type. All Trigger mods work for all guns (Rifles, Shotguns, Snipers, Bows, Launchers, Pistols). And, of course, gives the mod capacity boost as well, like the Aura and Stance mods. Note: Forcing a charge weapon into a non-charge trigger type will have it fire shots that are 50% as strong as its charged shot. Conversion mods convert the base damage of the weapon to a damage type, making it easier for elemental builds and such. Trigger Mods: - Full Auto - Forces gun into the Automatic trigger type Increases rate of fire by 15% / 30% / 45% / 60% - Semi Auto - Forces the gun into the Semi-Automatic trigger type Increases damage by 15% / 30% / 45% / 60% - Burst Fire - Forces the gun into the Burst-Fire trigger type (3-round burst) Increases damage by 7.5% / 15% / 22.5% / 30% Increases rate of fire by 7.5% / 15% / 22.5% / 30% - Duplex Auto - Forces the gun into the Duplex Auto trigger type Increases damage by 7.5% / 15% / 22.5% / 30% Increases rate of fire by 7.5% / 15% / 22.5% / 30% - Charged Shot - Forces the gun into the Charge trigger type Increases damage by 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% Conversion Mods (names needed): - Balanced Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to balanced non-elemental damage (Impact, Puncture, Slash). - Impact Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Impact. - Puncture Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Puncture. - Slash Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Slash. - Fire Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Fire. - Ice Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Ice. - Electric Rounds - Converts 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the weapon's base damage to Electric. That's what I would think would happen, but that doesn't mean I think it's OK for bows to become near-automatics. Still, nice idea, just needs some further considerations/tweaks/changes. I can envision the Ogris's AOE and large Blast damage being abused. You might need to limit your auras to specific weapon types to prevent lots of exploits.
