Mfne
I have only built two frames so far, but (correct me if I am wrong here) it seems that the material requirements are the same for all of them? For me, this reduces grinding for a new warframe to the insanely boring routine of: 1) Grind the boss for blueprints, about 6-9 runs for a set. 2) Grind a gazilion earth missions in order to get a gazillion Rubedo. 3) Grind Tolstoj a gazillion times for the credits. It is mainly the large amount of Rubedo that is required that is annoying me, the credits you would also get at less efficiency everywhere in the game, but if you want it fast then can do Tolstoj. All the other materials you tend to have in decent quantities, only on Rubedo you are always short. So, how about reducing the Rubedo bottleneck a bit, and add some variety in material requirements? - heavy offensive warframes, like Rhino and Excalibur, could require more alloy plates and ferrite - hi-tech models like Banshee and Mag might require more electronic components - stealthy models could require less (or none at all) alloy plates and ferrite, but more polymers Would feel less arbitrary this way I think, as right now the materials just really feel like "counters" you have to run down, and less like meaningful actual resources. Nobsi
Thats a good thought. I'm looking forward to it
Endrance
Same here, having to farm the same materials for every warframe is a boring routine. The only change that i've noticed on my warframe list is actually the boss farmed for blueprint
ThrottleFox
Good idea, I get sick of farming 700 rudedo, seeing it drops in lumps of 20ish even on the later planets with 20ish a drop

Toddwjp
Ha ha, it's better then looking for alloy plate for weapons Seriously though why do we only need100-200 common materials, but 300-500 uncommon materials Edited April 9, 2013 by Toddwjp

Unchained
Good idea, can't think of anything against it + I think it would be really easy to implement into game.
