how to equip stuff?

ok i managed to forged a cronus sword n im stuck, the UI seems quite confusing on how to change my sword.. in the end i tried the unlock slots, paid i think not in game credits for it.. is tis how it goes for changing weapons? I think its quite lame that i have to spend real money jus to change weapon?

What you do is click on the picture of the item itself like so:

Then on the most left side is the usable weapon you can equip without needing to buy it:

Click on whatever you want to equip and it'll compare both items to one another. Click equip on the righthand side, and you're set.

Edit: Also, what you bought was an upgrade on how many items you can hold in total.

erm so i do not need to buy upgrade slot jus to equip then? i remember that sword wasnt in my inventory... but when i purchased it, it appeared.. (note that i got that cronus from foundry)

Arsenal --> Click on the weapon you want to change --> Click the weapon you want to switch it to.

If it didn't show up that sounds like a bug. I haven't needed to purchase any weapon slots yet and I constantly swap weaponry.
