Side Missions

When you enter a mission, you get a side mission, like hack one computer, get 10 headshots, etc etc...

I was wondering what you get for finishing them?

500 Affinity.  I just wish the side mission counter stayed visible past the intro cinematic.

Ever get the treasure hunter one that ask you to get an artifact mod?

This one bugs me as i thought you could only get artifacts from doing alerts with a ? reward, making them not even mods at all. Though if I'm wrong and they are drops, then does getting this one as your side quest mean one should drop at some point in the mission? If not than it is just a waste of a side mission and a chance to get 500 affinity.

HAHA nice, i was thinking that it could be that.

I have just not got gotten fortunate enough to get this quest and a rare mod drop in the same level to see it get completed. Thanks for that, glad to know it does not actually mean an artifact.
