The Elusive Dark Sword, Part Du

I have finally finished my hunt for the white whale. The Dark Sword, which I had thought forever elusive, is finally in my grasp. Now I have a job to do, as do other Tenno wielding this weapon, which is to figure out every god damn stat imaginable on this weapon.

Notice - I will be updating this as my research progresses.

Base Damage:25
Charge Damage: 125
Critical Damage Multiplier: x2
Reach: 1.0

Charge Speed: 1.0
Critical Strike Chance: ~20%
Hidden Ability: x3 Damage to Infested targets.



For critical strike chance testing, I tested on Caloris on Mercury, with no mods and no sentinel. In a test pool of 300 charged attacks, 61 critical hits occurred.  (61/300)*100= 20.33%

Just obtained the sword as well. Totally wasn't expecting it. So I started the build and rushed it for 25 plat. It seems like a pretty good weapon. Not sure if I like it quite as much as my Mire, but with the proper mods, seems like it could take bosses down nice and quick.

The critical chance seems slightly less than the plasma sword, but its charge damage is higher and the bonus damage against infested gives it a slight edge up. Also, it's my favorite sword skin.

as far is I can tell the dark sword has stats similar to the Dual Ether swords. can anyone tell me what makes the dark sword special?
