Warframe : Icarus

 

A winged champion. Focuses on flight and powers over the air. This champion will grant the unique ability of flight, while also giving a unique ability set that drains both health and energy over time with the abilities. These "channeled" abilities will not be affected by streamline, and will also introduce the first "Cooldown" for the abilities.

In greek mythology, Icarus (the Latin spelling, conventionally adopted in English; 5: Ἴκαρος, ÍkarosEtruscanVikare[1]) is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus. The main story told about Icarus is his attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, and the melting wax caused him to fall into the sea where he drowned.

Skill: [Gust]

With a single flap of his wings, Icarus throws a gust of wind. Knocking back all enemies in a conical area in front of icarus, and knocking down more powerful foes, bosses are unaffected.

 

 

[use] The uses of this ability is for crowd control, and to enable war-frames with superior melee skills to finish off downed opponents. also can be used to disrupt rail gun and shock-wave moas.

 

[Cost]

25 Energy

[boosting] Increases area of effect and duration of gust.

[3 Ranks]

Knockdown duration .5 seconds,  1 second,  1.5 seconds  [2 seconds MAX]

Knockback distance 5 yards, 7 yards,  10yards    [15 Yard MAX]

 

 

 

Skill [Mist]

Icarus is able to emit a mist in an area, seemingly healing allies and damaging all nearby enemies. This is farthest from the truth. The mist is an illusion. Providing temporary relief and pain to all nearby allies and enemies, this effect diminishes over time as the mist grows weak and the truth becomes apparent.

 

Background info on The Mist

The Mist is a type of magic or force that prevents mortals from seeing creatures, places, and people, such as gods and champions, and instead they see things that they would find normal. Their line of reasoning gives them explanations for most of the events that occur

Mist Damage 

Rank 1 -10% health instantly, with 5% Health return every 5 seconds for 10 seconds

Rank 2 -15% health,Instantly, with 3% Health return every 3 seconds for 15 seconds

Rank 3 -20% health,Instantly, with 2% Health return every 2 seconds for 20 seconds   

Rank 4 -25% health,Instantly, with 1% Health return every 1 second   for 25 seconds [MAX Rank]

 

Mist "Healing" 

Rank 1- 10% health, Instantly, with 5% Health lost every 5 seconds for 10 seconds

Rank 2- 15% health, instantly, with 3% health lost every 3 Seconds for 15 seconds

Rank 3- 20% health, instantly, with 2% health lost every 2 seconds for 20 seconds

Rank 4- 25% health, instantly, with 1% health lost every 1 seconds for 25 seconds.

 

 

 

Skill [Wind Walker] [Toggled]

Increases movement speed and increases melee attack speed for all nearby allies, slows down the movement speed and attack of all nearby enemies in an area around the tenno, and grands a chance for attacks to miss the teeno [blur]

[boosting] Increases duration, effect, and  reduces energy cost.

Rank 1- 5 Energy per second, 10% movement speed increase/decrease, 10% melee speed increase/decrease, 10 % blur

Rank 2- 4 Energy per second, 15% movement speed increase/decrease, 15% melee speed increase/decrease, 15% blur

Rank 3- 3 energy per second, 20% movement speed increase/ decrease, 20% melee speed increase/decrease  20% blur

Rank 4- 2 energy per second, 25% movement speed increase/ decrease, 20% melee speed increase/decrease  25% blur

 

 

 

Ultimate [ Flight ] [Toggled]

Grants the tenno the power of flight, useful in open areas to provide aerial support and recon. Movement is like normal. Shift increases flight speed while [Jump] Increases altitude, and [crouch] decreases altitude.

[Cost] 15  Energy per second

[boosting] Reduces energy cost

Rank 1 - 15 energy per second

Rank 2-  10 Energy Per second

Rank 3-   6 Energy per second

Rank 4-   3 Energy per second

I like the feel of the warframe except the ult. If movement speed increased or he flies and then does some kind of attack then I'd accept it but an ult that does nothing but give the warframe a prolonged jump doesn't seem very "ultimate" to me. Plus the devs would have to make sure they have a limit as to how high you can fly and such so you dont have people flying off maps.

other than ult the idea is pretty solid.
