Mission Type Suggestion

Hello,

 

The game is awesome but it kinda needs new type of missions as it gets dull after some time. Here is some thoughts :

 

 

- Reverse defense missions. -

 

Ok you may say that we already have the it. The one where you have to destroy the reactor. I'm not talking about that. Here is the idea :

 

There is an pod, or an huge generator or something that the tenno wants to caputre/destory. So there is a huge group of enemy guarding it. Firstly you try only with melee weapons and no power. If you die you die for the rest of the wave (not being able to use revives). The wave ends when all group members are dead or all enemy are dead. If you fail the first wave you get a second chance. This time you have melee weapons and 100 power so you can use your "ultimate power" once. BUT you also get an small punishment like -3% health and/or shield. Or some sort of punishment. If you fail again you get on your third chancee side arms. If you fail again you get some more power. But every time you get more punishment. If you fail again you finally get you primary weapon. So this will go like 5 waves.

 

- Acrobatic mission. -

 

The engine is already there. Basically you have to pass obstacles to get your objective and have more obstacles to go to extraction point.

 

The scenario can be for example you fond an old tenno ship crashed on some planet or asteroid you have to go though ruins to get a black box or some kind of artifact. Or maybe some sort of lost temple. Maybe you find must race an enemy faction to it and if the enemy gets there first you lose the mission. It can be added traps. Like you run on some bridge but because of the dame that bridge had it will brake under you and you must find another way to go to your objective. Or some kind of deadly defense system. Or hazard zones like a reactor leaking radioactive waste. The thing is that mission to focus on jumping, climbing and stuff like that and less killing as there is this kind of mission in the game.

 

If find this kind of mission the best use of the acrobatic system that this game has. And it will also be entertaining.

 

- Deadlier bosses. -

 

Basically right now bosses are kinda weak. There are a few that are a challenge, but not a big one. Also bosses should have more ability and use them more often.

 

- Group of bosses. -

 

Maybe on some mission there are 2 or 3 bosses on one spot that you have to kill. This will force some team work and strategy. Not everyone empty your mags on the boss till he dies.

 

- Bosses return. -

 

So you killed Jakal for example. But it has been rebuild. More deadlier than ever and he has a new sector under control. You can see the old parts but you can see the added ones and the repaid ones and the overhaul. ( I'm not talking about models like The Hyena ).

There can be more that can be added and the ideas improved.
