Scholar (Warframe Idea)

Scholar is a focused Caster build, designed to be able to constantly attack with an energy blast. Low defenses and his abilities rely on leeching his own health, so very much a glass cannon. I imagine him as a semi robed figure, or as much as you can get with the solid armor design, with a book-like implement of his abilities.

Shields-120 (360)

Recharge-25

Health-70 (210)

Armor-10

Energy-150 (250)

Sprint-1

1-Book Cast (25)-A straight bolt attack that deals 50/100/150/200 damage with a minor AoE. Deals damage based on Scholar's current element.

2-Aura (50)-A small radius aura surrounds Scholar and deals 1/2/3/4 damage per second. Casting it the first time activates it on Frost (slows enemies on contact), each use switches it to the next element. (Ice-Fire-Electricity-AP) The aura lasts forever, but has a small radius and almost  no damage.

3-Sacrifice (75)-Scholar absorbs some of his own life energy to gain more power. It costs 10 health to cast in addition to 75 energy, and makes the next strike a guaranteed critical hit. In addition, it grants 5 energy regen per second for 20/25/30/35 seconds.

4-Disorientating Burst (100)-A large AoE attack that deals 250 damage of each element. Any surviving foes are stunned for 3/4/5/6 seconds. Scholar's screen is disrupted (like Ancient Disruptor) for 9/8/7/6 seconds. In addition, Scholar cannot use any abilities for 150/120/90/60 seconds and gains 1/1/1.5/2% health regen per second for 150/120/90/60 seconds.

Scholar's typical play would go like this. Get an energy orb, cast Sacrifice. Repeatedly cast Sacrifice whenever needed. Use Aura 1-4 times to get desired element. Then, use Book Cast as the main weapon, swapping to guns or swords as needed. Disorienting Burst is an Ult of last resort, dealing massive damage and stunning those who live in addition to regening, over time, all Scholar's hitpoints. But it disables all abilities for at least a minute, making him far weaker than normal and having to recast Aura to get the element again.

Any thoughts or critiques are appreciated.
