Naked
-Will keep this thread updated with tips- I understand that markers are a bit confusing to follow when they mark paths 3-4 steps ahead instead of 1-2 steps, but with the new level marking system it's a bit easier to get around without having to check every single room. -Part 1, the elevator- (1) As you can see my marker has "failed" me once again and led me to a locked door. Make a few observations: In this particular room (more screenshots in 2, 3, and 4) there are 3 exits. One is the tunnel-pipe from which I enter, and the other two are the two sides. Check both sides to see if they lead to a dead end. (2) Behind my warframe is the pipe entrance, to the right will be image 1, and to the left will be image 3 (3) After checking all 3 alternatives, the left side is the side that allows me to pass (it may differ because tilesets change and different doors unlock) Continuing on will lead me to the next room, which contains the elevator that is commonly missed by others (4) Continuing into the next room we find the ever so hidden elevator in the wall that can be easily missed if you're hopelessly lost and frustrated as well as new to the game. In my games, 90% of the time people don't even see this elevator and sprint past it several times until they realize that they have to use this to go up. And image of the room this elevator is in will pictures 5 and 6. (5) Picture just outside the elevator Edited April 26, 2013 by Naked

fauxhb
great notes! that particular tileset can be frustrating, it was very much so before the waypoint elevation patch. spending 20 minutes looking for a way up in an empty map and that freakin unmarked elevator, which furthermore starts at the wrong level (top, not bottom part) for some reason. and it's 3 or 4 floors of identical corridors. Agreed, I managed to memorize the map so it isn't as frustrating anymore but I remember how mad I was when I was first lost here. Hopefully I can add more pictures later
Haif
When the marker says to go "up", you go up :p But yeah, I've been stumped by this particular waypoint a few times myself the first few times I ran into it. Whoever in DE makes the waypoints so that people can find their way to extraction missed this particular spot. I guess its so elusive that even the devs didn't notice it >_> Edited April 26, 2013 by Haif
