Well my main problem with it is that I sometimes miss when I get that crucial mat I'm looking for for crafting or miss that new blueprint that popped up in my inventory because ammo/energy/health messages push it away. So I suggest something a bit more noticeable! Behold the power of MS paint!

68f5734f80b1d2811999bc96f6d2ce64.png?136 Things like common mats would be borderless and rare mats like blueprints or Control Modules would be outlined in gold. The bottom of the screen could still be used for things like energy and ammo, but the things that a Tenno truly needs. Obviously this is a rough representation of what the final product could be, but I think it would be great to have a few more fingers pointing towards those crafting mats.

Glad people are digging the idea. Anyone have any ideas on making this better?

I'd say drop the item's icon, and just keep it text. Keeps the UI more lightweight. And have a line just above the items for credits to roll up (count up) as having 100 "+1 credit"s dropping down would be more annoying than the system in place now.
