Tulzscha Posted May 17, 2013 Share Posted May 17, 2013 Granted, we live in southern Africa, (but not South Africa, which will ALWAYS have better interwebzz than us surrounding plebs...) so a linespeed of over 2mbps cannot even be bought by the general public. I pay about the equivalent of 150 Euros a month for my 1mbps down 256k up. Whoa. Here I thought the internet we pay for here in the Philippines is probably the worst in the world when it came to cost-to-bandwitdth. I'm paying about US$16 for a 2 mbps down 512k up mobile broadband... I should stop complaining now. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can't fix crappy computers or connections with network code. The biggest enhancement would be disabling hosting capabilities of the bad ones. They should be able to start online games and have people join, but that would automatically cause a host migration as long as the new player is not deemed as bad.
