I total agree with you they really need to fix this

while it's definitely one of the most 'meh" rewards there are, I don't mind getting pistol ammo as I sometimes run out using dual vipers and like having that option.

 

However I wholeheartedly agree that weapon or warframe xp should replace ammo boxes. Giving me a "reward" that I could buy with a paltry sum of credits isn't really a reward, more like a ..."ta daaaaa.....aaaa....*crickets chirping* " lol

I like getting the ammo boxes. It's better than exp on a capped weapon/frame and it saves you a whole 1k. That's like, one fourth of what I get from a mission.
