VKhaun
Until you get in CQC. Also... "Harakonari an tellika regala!" *Imperial Guards, sooner or later I will have the money for you... Still haven't looked at the Tau codex. Do they get any bonuses to overwatch? Or are they just paper targets once within 6"? Edited January 11, 2015 by VKhaun
Ghost333
Still haven't looked at the Tau codex. Do they get any bonuses to overwatch? Or are they just paper targets once within 6"? From what I understand, the only melee attack the Tau have is jumping on top of something with a battlesuit. Their niche is 'Moar Dakka, Less Whacka,' or 'Yeah, we suck at Close-Quarters. Too bad you'll never get there.' The only Warhammer games I have played is Dawn of War I, Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, II and Chaos Rising. So personal opinion: go for the Orks. Even if they don't talk on the tabletop, they are funny gitz. Obligatory: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

VKhaun
The only thing good old 'nids will mix with (lore-wise) is Chaos. Chaos Tyrannids... The Abyssal Swarm... Heh... Is that a real thing in the lore? I think Necrons are supposed to be like the 40k Tomb Kings but I immediately thought of Khorne+Tyranids when I saw the red and gold brass outfits on black snakes and scorpions. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Tomb-Kings-Sepulchral-Stalkers ^ Seems like you could throw some CSM and bug bits on that to make some sick Khorne raveners.
