ETQW
Puncture. Metal Auger (+ puncture) hands down takes the cake for the most useless weapon mod right now. High cost, negligible effect. Yours right. This mod cost so expensive with supecharged weapon too. it must cost 10 less slots at rank 5. And the fool understand that pistols, rifles and swords are too different to compare, so why not equalize their modules? So, for example, electric damage of guns at 15% by 0 rank versus 5% in the melee. It's fair?
ETQW
Point Strike vs True Steel are you kidding me? True Steel t looks so suck because of same cost but very difference in % chrit chance. Is it fair to 30% rank 5 melee vs 150% rank 5 rifles. Rifles also have base chrit chance more than melee weapons. suck mod.
StyoFosho
I agree that they need to buff Metal Auger's range of penetration. (inb4 sexual innuendos) :P
TheHeraldXII
Hmm, I think puncture seems so bad because a) maxing out nothing but damage mods seems to be the best idea and b) it gains very little from leveling it up. At minimum level though it shoots through stairs, most baricades, grineer shields and the occasional pesky railing in the way. Does anyone actually know what additional things it penetrates at the different ranks?
Dipstick
I tried puncture on the snipetron and couldn't even go through 2 ancients reliably (its low level). Why does it cost so much?
