Depar
I'm normally never use a Shotgun-alike Weapon as my main, but i always love them as sidearms. Yes we have the Bronco but a bit more choice in wpns is always good. so let me begin and show your my Desperado.Master Rank: 5Base Damage: 80Clip size: 4* Base Firing Rate: 1.5Ammo size: 200Reload Speed: 3sec(maybe even 3.5 or 4)Critical Chance: -%Polarity: D ** * 2bullets got fired at the same time 8pellets 10dmg eachi chose D polarity for the mod stopping power who will go hand-in-hand with maybe a base stun-rating of the weapon by 30~35% (sure you can equip you deep freeze2 <.< ) for the spread i consider a bit tighter one than the strun has The whole idea behind this weapon is for a quick second of glory where you pull it out and let them taste plumb stagger them and give you a bit breathing-room because ot the long reloading time its not intend to do dps. now it comes to the looks of the Desperado im pretty incertain, ideas a welcome.here some pics how it could look a bit steampunk The classic onei also searched for some futuristic design but didnt find something goodso plz tell me what you think of this weapon, and plz nothing like "get bronco, thats enough" only constructive critsmn or toughs if you wouldnt mind :3 Edited June 14, 2013 by Depar
Amistyrja
Seems like a pretty well-thought out suggestion but really, we already have the Bronco.. Also, for a gun that doesn't seem like it'll be fired very often, that's a lot of ammo.

Also, for a gun that doesn't seem like it'll be fired very often, that's a lot of ammo. i know bronco and stuff, but .. but D: the bronco is somesort a mix of strun and boar as you sidearm with even low clip hits "fast" and have acceptable reloading speed with my desperado i want to create a even harder hitting sidearm-shotgun (70x2=140 |i first tought of 80x2=160 but it seems to high) at the cost of reloadingspeed, 3~4 sec is a $hittone of time if you get crowded by chargers And because of the ammo, every sidearm has +200 ammo i mean the first wpn i got was lex who pretty destroy everthing in one hit, nearly cleared every lvl since i got it only with it and run never out of ammo, like i think it was made for the sidearms (we do not talk about viper or furis :3 ) but if that with the bronco is one of the main issues i could think of a knock-down from this wpn, how the movies shows us *bang* enemy flying right trought the door on the other side i could "redesign" it in somekind of akimbo with less dmg but higher clipsize? but that dont fit in my primary tought of this wpns. but thx you, for you criticism
contractkiller4
weapon skin? I do agree with Amistyrja, you need a niche for each weapon, the niche of this is "ppl who like double barreled shotguns" and not much of a gameplay niche, so a skin would work better.
